I would have preferred they beat the Stars last night.
The Canucks might be tired of losing in front of their home crowd so they might have some extra fire under their butts. I'm hoping for an OT loss here, not expecting a win at all.
I spent the whole 'nucks playoff run last year with 15+ vancouverites, and I can't remember one that liked Lu...
This is ridiculous and I am calling bs. Every "canuck" fan thought Lu was a god when he got a shutout in game 1 and 5. Every "canuck" fan hated at Lu when he had the biggest melt down in his career in game 6.
Lu is loved when he is playing well. He is hated when he's slightly off his game. It is absolutley ridiculous, its like he is expected to play 82 games and have a GAA of 1.5 and SV% of .960.

Bro this isn't your board, you probably aren't going to like what you hear.

We Canucks fans are bipolar unfortunately. For the most part it's like this with every player except Schneider. I personally have never liked him. At least he did the team a favour and finally checked his ego at the door this season. He's owning up to his **** play
Are you really going to claim what I said isn't true because there hasn't been a poll thread asking yes or no with everyone's answers?...
That isn't what I said, and not even close. What I did say though was:

Then I thanked you for pointing out something in later post. I'd guess most people don't really have a strong opinion on Luongo either way. The haters will hate loudly and the Luongo jersey owners will defend loudly.
I expect AV to match Kesler to the Wheeler line, so it is important for the Kane-Burmi-Wellwood line to have a very strong game.
Hopefully Kane will have an inspired game, as he played for the Vancouver Giants.
Defense needs to be cautious of the Sedins. Need to know where both of them are at all times. I know they are in a slump, but they can bust out at any moment.
I think it's just a day before discussion with the fans of a city whose team most of us cheered for over the years.
Wow, that is kinda funny. I don't know a single person here that was a fan of Vancouver.
I would put The Pens, Oilers, Flames, Leafs, Habs, Bruins, Flyers, NYR, Coyotes, and Ducks ahead of the Canucks for fan support in Manitoba.

Actually, I know of about 5 who were avid Canucks fans, but dropped them off on the curb as soon as our Jets game back

The Moose combined with the feel good part of getting your team back has gotten Winnipeg lots of support here. It won't last long. In fact, it could end tomorrow. It's not a good thing, if you guys ever lose in the Finals we're coming to burn your city down.

As for the list of teams, there really is no accounting for taste.
Noel was also asked on Tuesday if he had trouble distinguishing between the Sedins when he took part in training camp in 2010-11 as head coach of the Manitoba Moose.
“Do I think they’re connected at the hip? Yes,” said Noel. “When you look at them, how do you know who’s who? I just called them bro, then I knew I’d have them both.”

Coyotes? Ugh, there goes my lunch. I've never met a Coyotes fan from Manitoba irl personally.

I do know a lot of (former) Canucks fans though.
They were the western team I followed. So maybe just me lol.
The timezone was convenient for me to watch a lot of their games and I didn't have any connection to any other western team, except hatred towards the western CDN teams.
Maybe it is a ge thing. I know lots that were the other teams fans but no VAN fans. Although it makes sense.
