So check it out... my GF was talking with Rawhide (the mascot), and she told him that it would be really cool if he could remove one of his horns and use it as a beer bong. He nodded feverishly, then proceeded to (semi) stalk her for the rest of the day. It was really, really funny. We tried really hard to get him to talk, but nope, he stayed in character.
I'm doing Select-a-Seat at noon, but I'll be back at 3:00 for the public event. I wanna skate on that ice!
Noon!? I couldn't get in until 2:30! I also wish I had skates so I could try out the new ice. If I see the jerseys, I'll make sure to snap a pic and post them here.
Move the Worcester Sharks to SF and have them play at the Cow Palace. I hate that my team's farm club is thousands of miles away. It would make it easier to call up players as they wouldn't have travel all the way across. San Francisco Sharks doesn't sound very good though.

Yeah and have the AHL'ers travel thousands of miles for each away game
Agreed, to some extent. With the team name announcement, I couldn't help but think the "Bulls" were a poor name choice.

Can't be so greedy. The Woostah Sharks, I assume, has a strong fan base in Worcester; besides their loss is not our gain with regard to emergency call ups.
Just went and selected my seat for next season. I can't wait. The Cow Palace is a really unique place. It's pretty run down, but there is something super nostalgic that I love about it. They had the jerseys hanging and I took a couple of photos. Doug was right, they look a lot better in person. It kinda seems like that's always the case. Can't wait to see them on the ice.
A week ago I was in for a pair of 12-game mini-plans. Thursday I upgraded to a pair of full season plans. Today I added a third full season plan! Can't wait for opening night!
I went and it was super fun being back in the place I saw my first NHL game.. way up in the wood seats If I lived in the city I would probably get a mini plan but being in the South bay its going to be too hard to go to every game. But we plan on attending a bunch of weekend games.
I'm excited about the fact that I just got a new job that will allow me the expendable income to be able to attend Bull games. Should prove to be an interesting inaugural season.

I was surprised by how few seats had actually been reserved for season ticket holders. Although, i did notice that a few local bars and Anchor brewery were all in Section 14. I imagine that's going to be a fun section during the games!

Almost all of their games will be on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, with an occasional Wednesday game. The SF Spiders frequently packed the house on weekends, but couldn't fill many seats on weekdays.

Where will you guys be sitting? My seats are in Section 21 Row L. I took seats right in front of the concession stand. No one sitting behind me and only steps away to beer

I'm in Section 8, Row D. I picked those because one of the owners has the seats next to us, and we had a lot of fun hanging out with him last week. Plus, it's right in front of the bar!

Just a quick heads-up: The Bulls have scheduled their first exhibition game against the Thunder for October 3rd.

The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Organization announced today the details of the team’s first exhibition game of the 2012-2013 season. The Bulls will host the Pacific Division rival Stockton Thunder on October 3 at 7 pm at the Cow Palace. This contest will mark the first professional hockey game at the Cow Palace since the San Francisco Spiders of the IHL last played in 1995-96.
