Il ne lui manque que trois aides pour devenir le premier joueur en 15 ans à récolter 80 passes dans une saison dans la WHL!

Wow, he needs 3 more assists to become the first WHL player in 15 years to get 80 assists.

Both of his linemates are only about 10 behind him in assists, yet they both have twice as many goals as him. I'd love for him to turn out to be something, 'cause that would certainly save the Cammy-Bourque deal, but I suspect those two overagers on that line (and Zachary Yuen on the blueline) are doing a LOT to make Holland look much better than he is. As long as he turns out to be good enough to contribute substantially somehow, I guess it doesn't matter.

Hopefully added motivation to put on some pounds and strength, because if he doesn't he's going to get destroyed, even in "just" the AHL. Gonna need to play with people who can actually finish chances, that's for sure, 'cause I suspect he won't be creating too many for himself at the pro (i.e. men's) level.

His contract starts for 2012-13, not counting right now.

If they move Leblanc to centre, a Kristo-Leblanc-Holland line would be fun to watch next season in Hamilton, assuming Leblanc doesn't earn a spot on Montreal.

Beaulieu and Kristo do not have to sign until 2013...but I would like to see them both sign. I think it is time to turn pro for them.
Pateryn should also be signing once his season is done.

Pretty scary how many new faces could be in Hamilton next year, will be a very young team. You have to wonder if they need some veteran leadership:

F: Leblanc, Engqvist, Gallagher, Kristo, Bournival, Holland, Palushaj, Naatinen, Fortier, Dumont, Avtsin, Schultz, Conboy
D: Beaulieu, Tinordi, Ellis, Pateryn, Nash, St. Denis

I almost wonder if Beaulieu is going to remain in the Q just because of all the rookies on defense. I think that would be a waste of a year for him.
