Assuming the money is realistic (in the vicinity of $5M), this is great news. Losing him in the summer for nothing would have been a set back for the team.

2nd best Leafs news I've heard recently.
Happy for Grabo. He really likes it in TO, and I am glad he is staying. The guy has definately become a long term piece. Cant wait to see the details. Burke has always done well with re-signing his own guys.

Awesome. Great to know that he's part of Burke's future plans. He normally doesn't hand out those 5 year contracts.
