Some of the posts on here remind me of the Simpsons episode where Homer and Bart are chasing the flying roast pig. "It's still good! It's still good!"

Come on, guys. Let it go.

Grabo's line not including him have 65 points combined, Grabo has 47, the fact that Grabo is getting the points that he is without any form of consistent help is damn impressive and for you to completely disregard his line-mates is just embarrassing.
We do have better wingers, but Mr. Dangle can't play effectively with them. No worries, I'm sure he'll find his form now that the rest of the season doesn't mean much, and help us stay out of lottery position.

You're delusional. The season ended for this team when they got spanked 5-0 at home by the Habs. It's been an utter dissaster since. My god they're only two points ahead of the bloody Islanders and Hurricanes. Both those teams will likely pass them within a week. The only thing to cheer for now is losses. I know it sucks, but the tank job has to happen.

But knowing this stupid team, they'll likely go on a 10 game winning streak to close out the season and finish 9th.

Product of Yakupov? Dumbest thing I've ever heard. Only reason he isn't a top 3 pick is because he has lost a year of development, and now that he'll be back for the playoffs, he might just rise to the top 3.

Guys this was a game I didn't even turn the tv on to watch, but I kinda regret OT because I didn't get to see Ashton's debut. I see he had 9:30 or so of ice time and 5 hits. Any analysis of how he looked out there?

I actually think Kulemin has been one of the best Leafs since Carlyle took over. He's been more physical than I can ever remember, and that's the way he HAS to play.

I've enjoyed his game a lot over the past couple of weeks, personally.

WRT the last goal, that was a trademark Allaire move. Both Reimer and Gus have started doing that one knee down, other leg along the post crap this season, and have been beaten 5-hole.

I'm starting to think he needs to GTFO.

They played quite well, but were 2nd. best team on the night.

Gus made some great saves, but upheld his portion of the tank.

It's obvious this team needs a paridigm shift in philosophies and personnel. Phaneuf and Kessel are not the 2 players that we can build this team around. Burke really has his work cut out for him this offseason.

Anything is possible still. Probability is not on our side though.

Thankfully we have a new coach, we look great out there! No pressure, no quick transition, no speed and STILL no defensive coverage. Awesome! If not for Gus in the first period, we would have been down 4-0, I can't STAND the way we play, the whole roster isn't suited to Carlyle's style, like starting from scratch.

This NEW start under Carlye should have, at the very least, started before Christmas when he first became available. Too little, too late for this season to be saved. At least we have a head start on next season. Or, do we???

To finish the way they have this season. To roast Kadri with every turnover yet Kessel is costing them games.

This franchise was better off from day one playing Kadri in the lineup every night along with Frattin and Aulie, Gardiner and releasing guys like Komisarek and Armstrong. We have finished no stronger playing these vets all year long.

Burke has failed miserably this year and knows it so he's going after Cherry, MacLean and the rest of the media because of the lousy job he has done and trying to deflect criticism.

Kulemin finished sveral checks quite strongly, I haven't looked at the stats as I find that stat recorded very poorly, rattled some boards without taking any dumb penalties.

Checked:
Recorded 5 hits, whatever that means in Pittsburgh?

Ashton 5 hits as well.

Florida used to have by far the most hits recorded, it is subjective interpretation.

What? He makes incredible passes giving them wide open opportunities only for them to flub the pass or pass it again and screw up a great opportunity, he uses his line just fine.

Your hate is childish, the rest of the team doesn't produce and you only blame him, who do you think he is, Crosby or Malkin?
