Blame the man in your avatar. If he hadn't lost the ability to motivate his team or teach them to keep the puck out of their net propery this trainwreck of a second half would likely not have happened and we'd be sitting in 7th or 8th like the fringe playoff team we were supposed to be.

Sorry fellas, today's the day I jump off the playoff bandwagon. I just can't see it happening anymore (although I really don't want to tank either)

Can't say I am all that mad with the loss. Leafs playoff hopes were pretty much done before this game and I honestly believe it's over. Kinda sad how it's happened when you consider how much faith Burke has put into this group and they were holding a playoff spot comfortably for most of the year but this collapse... I mean they are now sitting 7th last in the league with 3 points out of 4th last.

But who knows, maybe it's a blessing in disguise. Leafs need high end talent and with a high pick, Leafs could get that.

Grabo line and Dion/Gunnar had a pretty good game. Rest were meh. I thought Gus was having a great game until that 3rd goal which turned out to be a game winner. That's pretty much why Gus will never be a good goalie or a starter. He wows us with saves at times but then gives up goals you find shaking your head and it's something he's done consistently in his career (as a Leaf).

Liles was pretty horrible tonight and I hope Franson/Brown are okay.

Well its a nice change of pace from say ... playing like garbage for 3 months - then playing lights out for the final 2 months - finishing middle of the pack - and listening to management/fans describe how awesome the team was at end of season and how amazing were gonna be next year because of it.

Alright, I am ****ing pissed. I thought Carlyle could maybe turn it around (we're 1-point out if we win both of these games - and both games were at a point there for the taking), but now, it's over. But what I'm really mad about? THREE ****ING WEEKS AGO, WE WERE IN A PLAYOFF SPOT! When was the last time we were in that position so late? But no, we have to **** the bed.

And another thing, yeah Kessel leaves a ton to be desired defensively, but I am sick to ****ing death of commentators and talking heads dogpiling on his defensive play, like all of our woes there generate from him. You know how big of a scoring lead he has on the next forward that was playing tonight? 24 points, and he tries to get back and he uses his speed. He makes a ton of high-risk plays, but that's what you have to do to get the numbers he does. HE SHOULD NOT ****ING BE EXPECTED TO BE A THIRD DEFENSEMAN! and the notion that he is unsettles the hell out of me. I hope to god he doesn't up and say 'Screw you guys and your expectations' to the media in two seasons when he needs to be resigned, else it's like we gave Segiun and Hamilton away for nothing.

I never did this before, but **** it, I am jumping on the tank. Who will be available in the 4-8 spot that plays center, has some size and will be ready to step in next year? Galchenyuk?

That works out well since Galchenyuk is American.

Yeah, everyone hates the Leafs. It sucks being a fan. On top of that, the Leafs go out and perform piss-poor, to justify what the haters say.

Could you just shut up please, I am trying my hand at being really nice here but your whole speaking the truth thing is upsetting the faithful. Just be glad I am not Burke and didn't call you ignorant.

Good, Day.

Got to admit I'm pretty depressed about all of this. Got into a hole as usual and now there's another impossible climb to get out. It is so bloody miserable being a Leaf fan these days.

Galchenyuk makes too much sense for the leafs. A C who is big and has tremendous skill and top speed. Keep on tanking please.

What kind of a team holds a playoff spot for four months only to become a lottery team by the end of it. This organization may be in more trouble than even we think

So much for Burke and his salvaging the season.

Poor old Carlyle's stuck behind the steering wheel of another 18 wheeler going off the cliff.

Maybe Burke can make a self-imposed end to the season.

It is. That stooge Wilson got fired and we could very well get a top 5 pick out of this.
