LoL 5-2 win? How do you figure, man? I'm all for optimism but let's be at least a little realistic here: I'm gonna say 3-2 win, and that's me being hopeful. Wouldn't mind a 1-0 win either just to prove that our defense can keep a superior offense at bay.

Need a win very badly...and preferably a win that doesnt revolve around Hank saving our *****, instead revolves around the team playing a complete 60 minute game.

Maybe Pittsburgh breathing down our necks will be the wake up call this team needs....their game has lacked desperation lately.

Need the points with Pittsburgh refusing to lose. Will be interesting to see how Torts splits Lundqvist/Biron between the Sens and Hawks. Personally I'd go with Hank tonight.

2 points! Nothing less! Let's take it to this rookie goalie. He is supposed to be decent but we are the top team in the eastern conference!
Maybe we will see a blowout tonight. Have we blown anyone out this season? It's kind of funny, we blew out multiple teams last season.

I think it's because Ottawa is right on their back. 2 points would be awesome tonight. I don't like the fact that the Pens are getting this close. Let's go boys!

Absolute tower of a goaltender out of the University of Maine.

Has massive leg pads. Reminds me a little of Valiquette.

Key is to let him drop, shoot high on him. His glove side is not very good.

Lundqvist needs to be in net for this one. I like Biron, but I don't like him starting after a regulation loss. Especially with the Penguins red hot and creeping up the ladder.

Any word on Dubinsky? If he plays, I'm sure the media will make as big a deal as they did when Kobe played with a broken nose.

Sinus injuries can be on-and-off as to whether you feel good to go, which can be a pain.

Still vs Ottawa, I think i'd first put Mitchell in, then if Dubi is even close to good enough to go I put him in over Scott and go from there.

I agree.

Scott needs to not play at all if possible. Ever.

Dubi and Mitchell in, please.

Go with what worked when we were winning.

I know we are trying to get Lundqvist a bit more rest this year than last or the year before, but I believe Lundqvist should get both games tonight in Ottawa and tomorrow in Chicago.

Let Biron play against the Islanders on sunday.

next 2 games are big points for this team and while Biron has earned the right to play this season, I think what's more important at this moment is gaining the most points possible and playing Lundqvist gives us better odds to do that.

I figure over the next 17 games, we can get Biron into 4-5 tops.

Sunday against the Islanders
Next Sat. against Colorado
the following Friday against Buffalo
Wed. the 28th against Winnipeg and
any one of the final 5 games of the Reg. Season after the Winnipeg game.

No offense to Biron but this game is a must and Hank definitely has to
play against the Hawks also...

Would it be insane to scratch McD and Girardi for three games? Not the same three mind you...let them each rest three over the next six. Every other game or something.

They're looking gassed.

If we lock up the division I would love to do that.

I am wondering when people say things like: Get him out of the lineup or bring him in, who are they talking to? Is Torts one of the hfboard members?
