The effect of not having Hank in net is huge and not for the reason that most of you would assume when I say this. The defense has been completely unwilling to get up on the forecheck all game because of Marty in net. That combined with the fact that the whole team is completely soft on the puck tonight explains the 1-3 deficit. Our forecheck is at its best when our defense is engaged and I haven't seen more than 1 or 2 significant pinches this game. **** this schedule. What is this like 8 games in 11 nights now?
