Maybe it's the Bulldogs offence that blowed tonight.

You're welcome , anytime

I'd usually take the time to write out specific reasons why I think a player blows but in the case of Ellis I think it's self-explanatory.

Not to mention that the only goal was a complete fluke....shot in along the boards, Ellis goes out to play it, and it takes a wierd bounce out in front of an open net. Oh yeah, you can't win if you dont score.

I remember when Nick Boynton scored a goal like that against Buffalo. No way to stop those goals.

Miller as well.

Danis has better numbers then all of them. Not that it matters, just thought I'd add that.

You likely won't win with a gaa of 4. Ellis is 0-6, it's very frustrating that management keeps playing him and he keeps losing.

Yes, your absolutely right. We're here on the Habs board, so you should expect comments like these. The guys are frustrated that most times Ellis is playing that the Dogs lose. Its not Ellis's fault, but I think the players don't seem has confident as they do when Danis is playing, and they sit back and don't provide the offence needed for Ellis to get a Win. I feel Dallas has a keeper in this guy, and when his teammates realize that he can do just as well as Danis, he'll start putting up the W's.

Thanks for adding that. If we go by stats then, LaBarbera would be god. If memory serves me right, he was horrible in some of his NHL starts.

Honsetly, would you take Danis over Lehtonen, Fluery, or Toivonen?

Also, the defence for Providence and Chicago are worse than Hamiltons.

Let's steal this Ott kid from Dalls. He's throwing punches and jawing at the opposing bench at the same time

In this game, is his GAA 4? No. He's stopped every shot he has had(the only goal as I said, was a complete fluke). You can't win if you dont score. Like I said, if Danis was playing and the score was the same, it would be Danis keeping them in the game.

If I was management, I would be frustrated with the offence tonight.

I said it doesn't matter. Danis is a rookie that hasn't lost in regulation yet. No one knows how good he can be cause he's only played 10 games. Give him a year or two to see how he stacks up against the top young goalies.

I wouldn't mind Ott with the Habs, it would be fun to see him with Begin.

Unreal...time running out and Ott is on the ice.

The guy has fewer points than Locke, Kostitsyn, Thinel, Gavin freakin' Morgan and bunch of others on our roster. And he's on the ice with the game on the line when we NEED a goal.

Does every Stars player on this roster have compromising picks of Jarvis? Jeezus. It's completely ridiculous.

Game over. The curse of Dan Ellis lives on. Thanks Jarv.

I would guess Ott was out there to cause **** in front of the net...and the curse of not scoring lives on as well.

He's still 0-6 and that's no fluke.

What about the offence? They sure played great out there.

This loss for Hamilton tonight was the offence's fault. When a goalie allows one goal, usually that means he had a good game.

Miller was IMPRESSIVE !!! Without him Rocher would be the losing team now.I hate playing vs them , they are an defensive team.Ellis played well though but you have to be concentrated and not go out of the net to take always the puck because it's too dangerous doing that and We saw it today

I hope Danis gonna be in net FRIDAY !!!! .
