Hello

Just thought I'd pop over here and ask which Blues players should I follow this game? Who's been good, any good prospects that will probably make a splash in the league in the future etc...

And give numbers with names!

Alex Pietrangelo (#27), David Backes (#42), T.J. Oshie (#74), and Andy McDonald (#10) all make themselves noticeable night in and out. There's also high hopes that our best prospect Vladimir Tarasenko who plays in Russia right now will be over next year with our second best prospect Jaden Schwartz soon after, both who play forward. Hope that helps!

I read on the main board that the Blue Jackets are giving free nameplates to switch from Carter to J. Johnson. I wish the Blues would've done that for ol' number 22.

Anyways, I'm saying the score will be 2-nil in favor of the Blues, with Backes and Oshie getting the goals.

If you look at the stats for the team, you'll notice there's no superstar production. Likewise, there are a lot of consistent contributors. Its hard to narrow it to one or two players to focus on.

Oshie / 74
Perron / 57
McDonald / 10
Pietro / 27
Shattenkirk / 22
Backes / 42

But I'd way pay particular attention when the 4th line is out. Lately, they look like they expect to score every shift. Its always an impressive effort.

Shatty didn't take #22 until this season though. He was #12 last season because IIRC, Boyes was still on the team when Shatty arrived.

edit: Shatty's first game with the Blues was Feb 19, 2011. Boyes' last game with the Blues was Feb 27, 2011.

Okey, thanks! Hope it's going to be a good game, while you guys seem to be unstoppable right now I'll hope the Ducks can give the Blues more then they can handle You guys got enough points already, share the love!

No such thing, We absolutely must win the Central division against Detroit to avoid Nashville in the first and have home ice against most teams.

NHL.com poll:

Which backup goalie would you want for a playoff run?
Cory Schneider (Canucks): 23.92%
Martin Biron (Rangers): 19.53%
Brian Elliott (Blues): 23.60%
Anders Lindback (Predators): 14.25%
Other: 18.70%

Does that mean Elliott's officially our backup?

Damn the Blues, making me take a break from Mass Effect 3 to watch the game. Don't they know that Galaxy is being invaded by Reapers?!?

According to the NHL.com folks, yep. I feel that's the consensus now anyways. It's pretty much set in stone Halak is our playoff starter.

I'm actually liking Cole's game 4 minutes in, and I'm never impressed by him.
