I feel like this is the Caps last chance to get it turned around. A win tonight and there is hope, a loss tonight and it's over.
Anything can happen in the playoffs, but the Caps will most likely be steamrolled in the 1st round and that's if they even make it.
I want to see Joe B. lose it and go off on a profane tirade against everything and everyone if they choke tonight.

Tampa 3-1 since selling at the deadline what's our record since the decision to compete instead of sell?

I think I might take a sign that says "YOU MAY CENSOR MY SIGN TED, BUT JUST DON'T CHOKE ME"
Or maybe "Ticket Prices Up, Wins Down, Playoffs ?, Censoring Signs, What's next?"

Who's going to score all of Tampa's goals then?

@kcarrera - Looks like Knuble, Hamrlik and Erskine all will be healthy scratches again tonight. #caps

Very beatable team, no backing down, no letting up.
Get it done. Ovi needs to be the best player on the ice tonight, not necessarily a ton of goals, but his energy and compete level need to be through the roof to set the tone for the rest of the team early.
We need this guy back big time..

Agreed
There is only one person that got us as far as we got, and only one person that can get us out. He needs to hitch the wagon and make it happen. But the players behind him need to stop being wusses and do their part. Support him in every way possible.
And it would be nice to have a goalie periodically steal a game for us.

I am still laughing thinking about Wideman skating right into Ward on that odd man break.
I would use that opening to get Hammer a game. But if Hammer does well, then what, bench Wideman the rest of the year?
Since our kids can do no wrong, its an injury, or a string of consecutive losses that will need to happen before change will happen. And it appears Wideman can do no wrong as well.

Maybe we blame the censorship on the Russians too? Soviet-era crackdown to celebrate the "election" of Putin?

Better win it in regulation boys..TB is a nightmare 4-4 or gimick-out matchup for us.
