Fun fact, I brought that hat for the sole purpose of having a hat to throw if someone got 3. I don't usually wear hats too often.
Thats what I really need to start doing because I refuse to throw my $35 hat (just got it).

Kovy: 62 GP 29G 38A 67 Pts -5

With 15 games left if he keeps up the play, I can really see him getting to 40 goals, 45 or more assists, over 80 pts, and at least breaking even on the +/-. This has been a tremendous season for him and I really hope there's no one left that can still say they don't like him or what he brings to the team.

Also, everyone was on a ledge during that slide we just had... but forgetting about the 1-0 loss on the Island, the Devils just beat the Caps, Rangers, and Isles by a combined score of 14-2.

It wasn't a Rangers one...or any sports one for that matter, but it is one of his favorite hats.

Kovy's a beast and if we keep Parise we're in fine shape for years to come.

If Kovy keeps it up, Parise stays... then we have Teddy hopefully panning out... Henrique and Josefson maturing and improving, Larsson getting experience, Urbom, Gelinas, Merrill coming... I'm excited about the future of this team.

If I may share a funny hat throwing story, I was at MSG when Gomez got his first career hat trick against the Rangers and I ironically wore a Gomez Devils hat. I was pretty far from the ice but I tried to throw it -epic fail, good arc but totally fell flat a good 13 rows or so down. The funny part was the Ranger fans it landed on got pissed and just turned around and tossed it back toward me. It fell about 5 or 6 rows in front of me so I yelled down to the people it landed on to throw it back to me. So I tried but I got it back.

and that's just what I hope Parise sees to as far as wanting to play for a competitive team and stays.

you have to fold the brim of the hat into the back of the hat to make it like a ball.. then you can throw it far

and that's what I did wrong, held it by the brim and over handed it instead of as a ball. Hence the quick drop. oh well. Hopefully somebody will give me a chance to redeem on st patricks' day.

Same.. I wore my red and green Mitchell and Ness hat.. They're pretty tough to find and expensive and I was up in 226 so I figured it wouldn't reach and some dude would keep it

He doesn't look good with the Isles. Maybe he showed up to play last night against us, but you should see the Isles fans slag on him all the time. The same "Pandawful" nickname is well represented.

Best hat related story I have:

Was at Kovy's first game as a Devil with a few friends. Sitting in Sec. 22. Kovy scores a goal and my friend throws his hat. Doesn't reach, since we were in the back of the section, but he got it high up in the air and up near the glass. I'm looking around, and a good 15 seconds later I'm starting to see a few more hats flying, and then a ton. I'm convinced my friend started the hat throwing for Kovy's first Devils goal.

40 goals may be a bit of a stretch. 11 goals in 15 games is possible, but just not entirely sure if it will happen. Going to need a couple of multi-goal games in my opinion. If he can, then its definitely feasible. 80 puts should happen. Same for 45 assists though. Regardless of where he finishes on goals or assists specifically, I would love for him to stay over a point a game pace. 77 games, 85 points would be great by me. For some odd reason, I kind of feel like I prefer he hits 50 assists to 40 goals. But maybe I'm crazy. If he could hit 90 points and get both though....

He'll get somewhere between 35-40 goals. 40+ goals is totally possible, if he gets hot at the right time.

I know what you're saying, BG, about the 58-goal pace. The thing is... he doesn't need to do that for 82 games... he needs that pace for 15. And we saw last year he plays well down the stretch run.

He's definitely going to flirt with 40. I say the worst he does is 6 more goals for the remaining 15 games.

Yeah, that makes it less bat**** crazy, but it's still very unlikely. I'll go with 35.

EDIT: I'd much rather see Clarkson get hot, plus add 2 or 3 ENG, and somehow pass Gaborik. That would make my stomach hurt for days from laughing so hard.
