glad to see that one of the locals agrees with me about Anchor Bar. That's ok though, the fun we had on Chippewa street all that night more than made up for it.

It's well known to the people in Buffalo that Anchor Bar is more of a touristy joint. I've have some okay wings there, but Duff's blows them out of the water. Or if you don't want to stray too far from the Arena, hop a cab over to Allen st and go to Gabriel's Gate. They're the best in the city, imo.

Have to order the Anchor Bar wings extra crispy with sauce on the side. Otherwise, they're just so-so.

Yeah, that's how I've gotten them; extra crispy. They were pretty good, but being born and raised in Buffalo, I've had way better.

Anyway, sorry for going ot on your GDT, B's fans.

12 games in the NHL tonight.

The Bruins could use a win. Beat Buffalo.

Ottawa is playing the Rangers and the B's have a good chance to end up 5 points ahead of Ottawa.

NOTE: ESPN Boston is reporting that Pouliot will play tonight.

Reminds me of the age old Modern v. Mike's debate. But ahhh! We've had enough culinary jibbajabba in here for one GDT, neh?

Boychuk 2 goals tonight! The Sabres limp out....rattled!

4 - 1, the Glorious Bruins with the Victory!

good god... Comment and propose tuukka, thomas and lucic for parise. Then ride turco to the cup. And make sure to mention if a trade is done within the conference then its OK even after the deadline,

Haha no doubt hed buy it...don't worry there's more:
"rask sucks daleeee so inconsistent its not age that matters its how athletic and in shape you are and thomas is in shape having a rough patch now Bc rask sucks n when they play him they lose and forces tim thomas to play more wich is wearing him down get a good goalie who can play every other 2 or 3 games and thomas has 2 or 3 years left!!!"
There's a lot of comments like this on the Nesn page. I'm afraid the future of the Bruin fan does not look bright.

common I know the bruins want to help us out a little bit tonight, You guys should be rooting for us over then jets anyways. You don't want to have to play in that building in the playoffs.

Hope its a good clean game but buffalo is tired and will slow the **** out of the game.

what is a ban wagon? is that something on HF boards when you get too many infractions and get thrown into a wagon of sorts and you are banned?

idk if your joking but if your not it's a fan who only likes a team for the period of time that they are good. Most of the time they do not know much about the sport or its rules. The second a team does bad they all ditch the team again. Us real fans usually hate them not only for their obvious stupidity, but they also jack up ticket prices way to damn high. And no, it is a rather common term.
