Shultzy has equaled his Minny point output in 5 games.

I wonder how many people hate the schultz for gilbert trade now lol.
making Gilbert look so overrated and I can't say that I'm too surprised.

Hey he scored in his last game in Minnesota, maybe the Oilers got the benefit of him starting a little streak

I don't hate the trade, I just would've have preferred to have traded someone else. Gibby and Schultz would've been a nice pairing, actually.

Perhaps there is one who believes Schultz is a poor "replacement" for Gilbert.

It's actually a genius plan by Tambellini.
Gilbert will play so bad that Minny will want to dump him for peanuts, and bam, there's our Schultz/Gilbert pairing.

The play has died on Gagner's stick every single shift.

I like Schultz game tonight. Probably has been our best dman this game. he brings poise to this back end and seems to make the right plays for the most part. Such a piss off that he's been getting the least amount of ice time every game.

Nice work by Gagner to take that scoring chance away

If we could get mulligans on Peckham and Barker we'd be tied for first in the NHL if we gave the two of them 3rd pairing minutes every game.

You don't need a lottery pick to find two better D than Peckham and/or Barker

I noticed that too. If he can start doing that regularly he could carve out a fine career for himself. He's got great hands in tight so if he can separate the player from the puck, even a little, he's got a good shot at winning the puck battle. He's played well again tonight.

I don't understand this Dumba love. He's PK Subban. Not good defensively at all.

I wasn't a huge fan of the trade at the time, since I wasn't very familiar with Schultz, but he has looked really good in the games I've seen!
Almost set up Smyth back door.

Just your everyday run of the mill 19 year old former 7th round draft pick.

I put it on the Habs GDT, it's equally apt here:
Pretty much.

Grigorenko hasn't been making fans out of all the scouts who have been watching him recently.
