I only read two pages, but surprised no one mentioned Raycroft.

Danny Grant in 1974-75, 50g in 82 games.
Had several 32-34 goal seasons prior. Finished his next 3 seasons with 32 goals....total.

Petr Nedved. 99 points with Pitt in 95-96. Always a decent player but too soft but nowhere that good.
Ironically his 2nd best season of 78 points in 00-01 spawned two fluke seasons with two other players...Jan Hlavac and Radek Dvorak (bust).

I don't believe in fluke seasons. Players can have a great season - one that is far superior to their norm - but I wouldn't call it a fluke. A guy still has to put the puck in the net or set up the plays.
That being said, one of the biggest anomaly type seasons was Mike Krushelnyski's 43 goal, 88 point season playing left wing with Gretzky.

Nobody ever says injuries derailed Brad Boyes, so what was it? It's not like he was playing with a Joe Thornton talent in St. Louis, too.

Brad Boyes did have 33 the year after his 43 goal explosion. Hasn't even hit 15 since then, though.

Boston Bruins 2010-11
But seriously, the only answer to this question should be Jose Theodore.

Brian Rolston hit 79 pts in the anomaly year. His next highest was low 60s so not that bad but still.
Todd Marchant hit 60 pts in 02-03, his next highest was 40.

Would not be fair. That one time release with Joe's unreal set ups?
Although it would have to be a Thornton circa 05-07 when he was really dishin it.

This thread screams lack of knowledge. Calling some of these things flukey is bordering criminal. Just because a player was complimented perfectly by another doesn't mean it's a fluke.
Fluke games I understand. Fluke seasons don't happen.

Citing 05-06 seasons should not count, scoring was so high that year. 92-93 too
