I don't know. I think that Bert manually drilling Moore's face from behind into the ice and breaking his neck is worse then a blindsided hit to the head with a weapon. Both dirty, but in my opinion Bert's was worse. Partially because he was physically drilled by Bert's own hands.
It's kind of a toss up as they were both disgusting actions but I think the fact that I grew up in vancouver and had to listen to countless people try and justify what Bertuzzi did has made me hate that one even more.

I really don't think bert wanted to hurt him THAT bad.
obviously he wanted to punch him.. as for the broken neck, he did not mean to do that, I believe the pile up is what caused the broken neck.
Agreed, I don't mind people having different opinions it is just having to listen to so many people say Moore deserved it was disgusting and tiring.
Moore didn't deserve it, but calling for something like that to happen occurs fairly often among fans in every city around the NHL. Until, something goes horribly wrong and the player does indeed leave the ice in a stretcher. I mean swinging it back around to Calgary, that very same year in the playoffs on HFBoards there were Flames fans suggesting Alexander Korolyuk should leave the ice on a stretcher because he had the audacity to finish a shot on Kipper after the whistle.
As for the McSorely hit, I was actually at that game live but seemed to be the only one that missed the hit. It's not like I wasn't paying attention, I was following the puck then next thing I know everyone's booing and throwing stuff on the ice.

I never said that Calgary fans or any other fans never say things like that but the fact that those tried to justify it after the fact left a bad taste in my mouth and really soured the canucks for me. I said it was my opinion and I have no problem with people disagreeing its just having people defending what Bertuzzi did just left a bad image in my head about it.
