Ocho is hilarious on twitter, he randomly meets up with fans and buys breakfast.

No harm here

That he has an actual personality, unlike the vast majority of NHL players?

I know many people on here have a major inferiority complex when it comes to sports outside of hockey... but come on, now. Putting down a player because he has a personality is pretty silly.

Well SilverRiver....I don't think the world is ready to handle such a story. Shame too, very easy for the common man to familiarize with an eccentric Russian millionaire and his football playing American doppelganger.

It would be awesome if Ocho starts moonlighting with the NHL elite.

Ocho is the man, I wonder how much money he lost as a result of getting fined for showboating.

Seems like a nice guy and all but maybe his elevator doesn't exactly rise all the way to the top floor.

He's a great guy. Just very full of himself is what I was trying to get at. And NHL players lack personality? I think Sean Avery is one of the most personality filled people in sports lol, it may not be positive but I sure as hell find Avery very funny.

Sean Avery isn't an NHL player.

How can anyone hate on Chad? He is the nicest guy in the NFL. What has he done that was bad? Never gets into trouble of the field and he is just a comedian at times on the field. The guy is constantly doing things for fans on twitter, anything from buying 30 people steak dinners one night to paying for university books for other fans. He is just a big kid who loves to have fun. Follow him on twitter he is always doing something there. Especially if you like EA Sports games he is always up for a challenge when it comes to that, takes his FIFA very seriously lol.

So creeping now includes posting something on Twitter for over 3.2 million followers to see?

I just don't get the negative reaction toward this at all.

Might actually get some fans in the bulding. #boomroasted

If only Ochocinco had found an interest in puck a little sooner, the Thrashers might have been able to sign him

If Ocho laces them up with Malkin for a little pond hockey, there had better be cameras rolling. Because that would be awesome.

He's probably trying to work his way onto an NHL squad. He's tried this before with soccer..

It hasn't even been that amazing when you look at Ovi's 65 goals and Crosby's 120+ points recently. It's been above average, but not stunning.

Ocho seems like a good dude. He's an attention *****, but a good-natured one. Does a lot of cool stuff for fans. When he was in Cinci he'd post on Twitter for followers to go to a cafe in Cinci and he'd pay for everything. Pretty cool. He did the same for movies. I think he told someone in Florida that if someone would drive him to a Panthers game that he'd cover the costs for the game.
Pretty much. He's a clown, but a well-intentioned clown. I like that he's becoming a fan... coming at the right time, too, with Seth Jones and Anthony Duclair in next year's draft and Joshua Ho-Sang in the pipeline. Hockey needs more diversity, fans and players alike, and I think an unprecedented movement in that regard is right around the corner.
