Chad is awesome. This is awesome.

He even responded to one of Shawn Matthias' tweets. Not sure if anyone posted that.

I remember a while back he had a tv show or some football talk show thing with another football player (I forget that player's name), but he said that he thought hockey players were a lot tougher than football players and that hockey was a tougher sport to play in. This was a couple years ago if my memory serves me right so maybe he is a casual fan or something.

This is the best thing to happen to hockey since... well, ever. This is the single best thing to ever happen to hockey.

You can't not love Ocho. Shaq and Charles Barkley are also two of my other favourite sports personalities. Gotta love all of those guys.

Screw the haters, if he's willing to set aside his pride and break the ice like this then kudos to him.

Will only watch if LeBot is involved as well.

Good for him. While his antics did go overboard on times. I always liked Ochocinco, good to see someone like him take an interest in hockey.

Last night an ESPN program was discussing how the Detroit Pistons needed a hero citing the heroes on the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and no mention of the Detroit Red Wings. All this despite the Red Wings probably being the most succesful team in Detroit right now.

If LeBot is involved, they are going to have to move this to late night television. I mean really late night.

he's cool/ i don't really follow football, but any guy who changes his name like that has a fin sense of humour i can appreciate.

also, any exposure to american fans of other sports is good. people look up to their favorite athletes in the nfl and other sports just like we look up to and respect some of our fav nhlers, so it can get people to check things out.

Very cool imo. Chad is good for any sport imo, he's good natured and fun loving. Honestly don't know what there is to dislike about the guy.

Chad seems like he's very open minded when it comes to sports, glad he's enjoying hockey.

Pretty much this. I'm a fan, even as a Patriots fan and even with his terrible past season with them.

For anyone saying Ocho sucks. You are objectively wrong. Ocho owns bones. This is fact.

Actually quite a few """big""" (I use the " liberally with Chad Johnson) are in to hockey.. I know it's actually a popular sport amongst people with money..

I love how he tweets Malkin like he can't speak English. "You want friend?" The guys hilarious.

It's Chad Johnson now. Apparently didn't want his fiance to take the name "Ochocinco"

Good for him. as much as he loves the camera hes a good guy. He treats his fanbase well and would do good to take an interest in the best sport. maybe He'll be featured on the next 24/ocho: leafs red wings

Sadly hes changing his name back to Johnson this summer, hes getting married. can't say I blame the girl for not wanting "ochocinco" as a last name.
