Should Todd be fired for playing Colin White?

It's pretty obvious that Colin White is the weakest Shark and he is costing us points imo. His lack of mobility is something even Handzues finds amazing and his mistakes are possibly more frequent than Wallin. I suspect he is playing him because of handedness but still.. let Demers or whoever take all year to learn a new side instead maybe... because it ain't working with Colin.

What do you guys think?

No. He should be fired because the fans want him to be fired.

No but he should be fired for selecting Jim Vandermeer to take that shootout attempt in practice. What a ****ing idiot.

No. If he was fired, it would be for his inability to make adjustments, poor special teams, riding Niemi too hard, underusing the 4th line, scratching Vandy/Galiardi, and often ineffective system in general. White has actually been ok.

Nah, leave Doug Wilson out of this. Let's keep the irrational hate for Mclellan going.

No.

Todd should be fired because

1.) He doesn't field the best possible lineup night in and night out to win hockey games anymore;

and

2.) Sharks org depends on playoff revenue. At this rate, they won't make the playoffs. A coaching change historically means a short term boost in play. Right now, a short term boost could mean playoffs, and, thus, (some) playoff revenue.

Two pretty good reasons for the Sharks to fire Todd (and his third rate staff) now.

White is playing decent as of late. And it's sad to say, but he's better offensively than Murray. I've noticed that he knows his shot isn't great, so he always does the quick pass to his d-partner. Murray is a black-hole offensively, whenever he gets the puck, he holds it for 2+ seconds and then shoots it into someone's shins, despite the fact that his partner is Brent Burns.

Why? Please explain. I'm suggesting fire Todd now, go with ANYONE else in the interim, then hire someone in the offseason. Why is that "no revenue" for years? Because TMac is so awesome????

This.

I was saying in the gdt that a coaching change might be the only thing to wake this team up right now.

Thank you. I think the Sharks are forcing DW's hand. Can he just sit there while the losses pile up and upper management is looking at DW saying "WTF? We need playoff revenue. Get this team into the playoffs."??

I don't think DW can just sit on his hands and do nothing.

I voted No.

But I think Todd should be replaced because of his lack in making adjustments as required. I have felt that since before this year though.
