Phoenix was held to one point tonight as it lost the shootout to Minnesota 3-2 to lose the game 3-2. (Seto and Heater with shootout goals.) The Coyotes are one point ahead of eighth-place San Jose in the standings to hold down seventh, and three behind division-leading Dallas, who currently has the third seed.

With a lead with 3 minutes left, gotta win.
I'da put Patty in the SO, but you never know with the Rookie.
Oh well, SJ'll win the next 3; you heard it here 1st...

Dan
The GDT was all win though, Danno. We still got a point out of it

Didn't think I'd ever say this but White has been fine lately, at least compared to his garbage play the most of the season.

Shoot-out order: Seems like Pavelski --> Wingels --> Clowe might've made more sense.

Pavs rattles Lehtonen on the 1st shot, then he over-plays it on Wingels or Clowe.

Anyway, should've gone with Pavelski --> Couture --> Marleau in my opinion. That's always dangerous.

Next time make Dan should make 2 Gdts since the Sharks can only get one point per Gdt.

And, I think Burns is least often spotted dramatically out of position when paired with Vlasic, although the last time I remember them working well together was late December / early January.

You're only looking at the rookie aspect. You're ignoring the time of the season. Lindstrom's attempt was in the first month of the season. There is no pressure on him at that point. He also didn't have to come back from getting boarded earlier in the game. It is not even remotely comparable.

Couldn't agree more.

Was going to make a pithy remark about T-Mac still feeling the effects of the stick to the head, but I just did.
