I'd say there's an outside shot we end up in 5th/6th/7th if we keep up our issues.

The whole bottom 6 tonight combined for 26 goals all season long. Talk about no secondary scoring whatsoever. Dubinsky wasn't in but he doesn't help anyway.
Throw in the fact that Torts plays Boyle, Prust and Feds more than Hagelin, and it's absolutely bad right about now.
I would say I'm at about 70% confident right now. We need to do some major damage on that 7 game homestand. Thats our chance to salt this conference away. If we stumble thru that, I think we're in serious trouble.
Does it matter? If we don't win the President's Cup, then I personally don't care if we come 1 - 8 in the Eastern Conference. But I'm about 95 percent confident we will win the East.
I voted 50%. A loss tonight, coupled with a Pens win would leave them four points back with two season series games still to play. As others have said, a slump was coming at some time, it's just a case now of how long that slump lasts. At least maintain a home ice spot, please.

I honestly can't see us winning many games down the stretch with out a PP . All teams have to do is trap us and or keep us to the outside . Our lack of a PP and hr fact that 3/4 of our FW are plugs , goons , grinders and converted D men .
Unless Henke can pitch shut outs the wheels have severely come off . It's been a real nice ride winning all season but now as every orbs team is upping their stakes we have 2 flat tires and clogged fuel injectors .
I can't see Pitt losing more than one or two down the stretch . They are too deep , Jordan Staal is heating up and Cindy on his way back . NYR have BB, Prust , Feds , Andy Garcia daughter , Joanie Mitchell , John Scott and Rupp leading their offense . Even that human pile of excrement Cooke is outscoring all of them combined

The last time we played well was February 14 vs Boston(3-0). Since then all facets of our game have been poor; our record though is 5-4-2. Want to know what a team who "forgot how to win" actually does when they are playing poorly? 2-7-1 (Leafs) 2-6-2 (Sharks).

i think we pick it back up. winning first seed doesn't mean winning every game for us, it just means staying the course and winning most of them. if the Rangers aren't first seed, that means that other teams stepped it up and the Rangers couldn't. I think they'll win a game and get some confidence back.
