OEL is legit.

EDM should consider trading #2 overall for him. Yotes would get either Yakupov or Grigorenko out of it and they've got Gormley and Murphy in the pipeline anyway.

Call me crazy, but I wouldn't take the pick for OEL. He's playing north of 26 minutes a night, stellar defensively (I justed watched him break up a shorty chance from Kesler and Burrows), and has great offensive potential.

Yeah I wouldn't either if I was Phoenix, more from an Oiler perspective. OEL is further along in his development than Keith was at his age IMO.

Actually that's not my opinion, it's more of a fact - Keith was in the AHL at 20. I always think Keith was an 03 draftee.

No offense, but how are we worse than Phoenix? We get to spend more money than them...

I think you should make a "Tomorrow is the start of a huge win streak" thread.

How about a "tomorrow is the start of a long streak of utter blowout losses" thread?

The Coyotes never die. They are deeper overall than SJ right now. Plus a much more cohesive team.

But seriously, I'm in love with OEL. Imagine Vlasic, with offense and physicality. That's OEL in a nutshell. I saw the types of little defensive stick plays and pokechecks and blocks and tips that I usually only see with Vlasic tonight in OEL, and then add his goal and assist. Jesus there it nothing I would not trade for that kid.

Vlasic-OEL pairing would be amazing.
