Damn my reverse psychology didn't work.

If the Canucks play like THAT.. every time they run into a goalie that's not on top of their game they will score a lot of goals.

Are we gonna get Weekes/Lee on Saturday? 'Cause that's a guaranteed loss.

Only concern from the game was defensive breakdowns, if we can fix that and play like this ill be a happy camper.

Given the microscopic criticisms of Hodgson found in this forum, it will be interesting to see how HF views Kassian's abysmal defensive effort tonight - one that earned him a spot on the bench for the third period.

Good game. Disappointed in Kassian though, I expected more physicality.

Guess we should temper our expectations a tad.

It's always nice for the better team to prevail over the better goalie on the night. Well done, Nucks.

Hodgson cost Sabres a goal tonight to...both have been underachieving to be fair.

lol another Kassian hater from out of the woodworks. Kassian can't play like a beast every night, just ask Coho, he was slumping pretty bad before he was traded too.

Kesler was a monster tonight. Shades of beast mode at some points, could have had 4 goals.

Just a tad, as both he and cody are rookies.

Good luck to the reporter who goes up to Kesler and asks, "Hey Ryan, how come you had better jump tonight?"

He'd probably respond with his usual, "This was my worst game of the season."

Quick notes:

Good effort is good.

Sedins need one to boost their confidence.

Kesler was in full on beast mode.

Higgins is the right fit for that second line.

Tanev should be in the top 6 for the playoffs.

League officiating has slipped back almost to a pre-lockout standard. This isn't just a Canucks thing, it's the new standard by which the game is being called. It's disgusting and killing the game again.

Didn't know Pahlsson had such a rocket.

New looks on the power play looked good. This had something to do with beast mode Kesler methinks, though. If Pavelec/the crossbar weren't so good the PP would've cashed.

Schneider was good even though the Wheeler goal wasn't great.

Hansen had his best game in awhile.

Kassian's worst game as a Canuck, but he's going to have tough nights. He's a rookie.

I don't mind this defense at all. Was much crisper moving the puck.
I thought Tanev and MAG were better than Salo and Edler for the most part.
I am beginning to think maybe MAG was a good pick-up.
I'm still worried one of the right side D will get hurt, but if they can stay healthy the Canucks should be fine.

Good exciting game.
AMEX line was on fire. I hope this will show AV that should be a permanent thing.
Sedin's looked better. As much as I love Burr I think he's making them look a little worse than they are lately.

I will say it again. MayRay has looked decent these past two games. I hope his confidence get's back up soon.

It was bad. OH NOES! I have the ability to be objective. It's sad that you can't say the same.

Our whole second line kicks all kinds of ass. When was the last time we could say that? Probably Sedin-Sedin-Carter.

I also loved Kes on the PP when he was taking shots because he has a wicked release + it saves Salo for the 2nd unit so we have another big blast on the point if we choose to go with the 2nd PP unit.

Sedins do their thing, Burr is front, Kes and Edler on the point wiring shots when possible. Lovin' the new look, TBH.
