It seems inevitable that f***ing Pittsburgh will win the division now. Can we just win it? One time?

Great things happen when you go to the net: Point in case, Prust's goal. If McD/G/Staal/Del Zotto would just shoot the puck more, whether it be even strength or on the PP, we could try and get some rebounds and force em in with our team full of grinders. I don't think this team takes point shots nearly enough. They obviously work seeing as how Chicago scored 2 of their goals that way. And it's not like you need to have some HUGE 108 mph point shot, that's not the... point.. lol. The point is to just get it on net low and look for a rebound.

I see McD trying to shoot more and I see Del Zotto shoot sometimes too, but the thing is that they try to get cute and snipe corners and end up missing the net entirely. Man... I really think that would help this team big time. Just more shots from the point and GET THEM THE **** ON NET.

Rangers will be fine. Stick to the game plan that's worked all season. Torts needs to manage 3rd periods better. He couldnt match lines because of the road games, and his guys are too slow to change on the fly.

The homestand is coming at the perfect time.
I dunno if it's coaching. It just seems like they're all tired and gassed. This team is a grinding team. That's how they'll bust out of this funk. Of course Henrik can't let in more than two goals.

Guess Boyle gets the Michigan Avenue hat from the Blackhawks tonight.

You really didn't see Cally lazily fling his stick at the shot?

Still haven't given up five goals in one game all year, I believe, besides some crap shootout goal for Ottawa in October.

He didn't tip it though, it was bad play by Cally for sure. But its irrelevant. Hank wasn't screened and the puck trajectory didn't change. Hank made a bad save, he is human(I'm not blaming the loss on him in any way).

Gaborik
Richards
MDZ
Stepan
Anisimov (sort of)

EVERYONE ELSE IS A GRINDER.
I agree with you. But even if Nash equals one more goal in a game like tonight's that could very well win us the game. Hopefully this Kreider kid is as good as all of you guys make him out to be, even though he's untested in the NHL... Because if we don't get too far this season, we'll know why, and I'm going to want that lack of offensive power filled in for next season.

Hank's usually the first one to admit when he's made a mistake. Hell, he used to blame himself when the team lost 1-0...

Who cares how the goal went in? Even IF Hank did let in a soft goal (which I doubt he'd lie about) that doesn't mean he lost the game for us... lol guys... lol.

True, but you can't blame Biron for every loss either. Goaltending isn't the issue.

Johnny Malkin setup Anisimov for that first goal, but why does he get so much ice time?

McDonagh kept Hossa in check for most of the game, can't complain about that.

Henrik had the thumb of his catching glove up his arse instead of where it belonged. He got beat from 50 feet. Inexcusable. he should own up and shut up about it.

The culprit was Boyle. He should be on the 4th line and should be getting 6 minutes per game.

I remember when Hank was a rookie that he would make statements like that. But I have never seen him do that in recent years. He never throws his team under the bus, but I don't think he blames himself in front of the media either. He usually gives a lot of vague stock answers, like 98 percent players in hockey.

What? 3rd loss in a row and some questionable plays in the 3rd period and failures by certain players
