Yes, pun inteded in the title

Things look great for Tank Nation, not so much for playoffs hopeful.

EDIT: Ashton's first experience of Carlyle.

Ashton, not Carter.

and he should be up with Bozak and Kessel. Size and speed? That's exactly what that line needs.

The poll doesn't make any sense because no one believes we can still make the playoffs. Well the right-minded people anyways.

This. Frattin has no finish, constantly missing the net. I mean, we're going to lose anyways, why not give the kid a TRY on the "top line" with Kessel

The Leafs will have it tough against the Flyers. With Lupul out of the lineup, our scoring chances have diminished with an already abysmal defense to look forward to.

The only bright spot is watching the warrior Grabovski popping in a goal or two to keep the game somewhat relevant. This will be a tough one to watch for sure.

Flyers have won 4 straight and Bryzgalov has 2 shutouts in his last 3 games I'm pretty sure.. Gonna be a tough one. Hopefully Reimer is in net and he can have a start reminiscent to the game against the Flyers near the end of last season

Also, we'll have Boyce to score GWG in last 5 minutes .. OH nvm.. sucks that his current team has more points in last 3 games than Leafs have had in last 14.

With our pathetic, deserve-to-be-relegated-to-the-AHL record of late and Bryz being on top of his game, I think there's a big chance that PHI underrates the Leafs tmrw

Compared to vs Bos and @ Pit the next day, this is by far the most winnable for the Leafs of the 3 tough matchups.

They really need to try Grabovski with Kessel. They always look good together during line changes this season. The excuse that they're both "shooters" is ridiculous now because Kessel has become an amazing passer.

They tried it last year.

They have poor chemistry. Try it again in the off-season.

Barbara Underhill at MCC now, power skating consultant I guess. Carlyle not wasting time for training. Already on to next season I guess.

For a grand total of 3 games, hardly a large enough sample size.

Horrible chemistry. All three of those were GWG, btw.

Great she's the Rangers skating advisor, gets credit for turning Boyle's career around. Now if we could just get them to turn over the prospects to Gary Roberts perhaps we could see some light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm sure the Oilers say the same things.

Agreed. Just based on Grabo's contract I think it would be smart to give Grabo and Kessel an extended look together. And whenever they play together they have looked good to me, those highlights just confirm that. The idea that both are shooters so it cant work doesnt make sense. Kessel and Lupul are both shooters too, how have they done together?

If they explicitly said they're tanking, won't the league punish them via fines/draft picks/etc?
