This game and our next 4 (v. FLA,WSH,TB,OTT) will determine where we will finish in the standing. This games @home which is nice playing against a great team, but than we play our competition on the road. If we have a good road show, we can make it.

No team is going to admit to tanking. Mirtle posts the most obvious crap.

Yeah That's like the Saints admitting they had a bounty program before the report came out

You would think that they would of switched Bozak from the 1st line weeks ago and tried Connolly there ? They has some momentum going there for a while in till Connolly got injured and was moved down the line up

Connolly will probably get injured in this game the way the Leafs have been getting hurt. He's had a long healthy stretch by his standards as well.

I'd rather see them play well and come close, then watch the embarrassing efforts night after night on route to a better draft pick. I just can't cheer for the Leafs to lose. It's just not me.

During the game I totally agree. I don't sit watching hoping they will play poorly either. But I'm totally Tank Nation and the out of town scoreboard is the nation's friend. We are still at least 10 days before the stupid and futile gesture of a winning streak starts.

I agree they'll never admit it... but Carlyle was asked the question today and answered it so there it is. And fans are interested - that tweet drew a lot of response.

I think the Flyers are going to clobber them. I bet four or five goal margin.

While they both take a lot of shots on the net, Kessel is no longer a shoot-first mentality player anymore, so I don't think that's the main issue. It's the fact that they thrive off puck possession, and sadly, they still only use one puck in NHL games. Only one pug hog per line allowed.
