Hey guys, Flyers fan in peace going tomorrow. 2 quick questions:

1) What staidum food should I get, considering they probbaly wont have cheesesteaks?

2) My mom has told me stories of french fries being doused in vinegar. Can anyone confirm?

Its something you would do yourself, if you so choose.

lol bro reimer should never be allowed near an nhl net again. there should be some sort of restraining order placed on him. it's just criminally brutal whenever he's in net.

well, thankfully carlyle has some common sense and will ensure that reimer does not play.

You have an awesome way of judging a sophomore. If our goal was to outbeat Columbus in race to Nail, we'd 've had you instead of Ron Wilson for tank commander

get something from burke's dog house

look for a dog and a pop to set you back about 20 dollars though

well worth it

That's an intriguing point you bring up. Your reasoning is clear and concise.

lol i'll concede that i'm not as knowledgeable as burke, wilson, carlyle and probably quite a few of you on here.

that being said, i also feel that it couldn't get much worse if i were the one running the show. it's not too difficult to miss the playoffs for 7 years consecutively, while still not having a #1 goalie, #1 center, #1 dman, while having special teams that consistently rank at the basement of the league.

regardless of my somewhat biting remarks, my point is that i think gustavsson > reimer. gustavsson kept us in this season; as burke put it, he saved it at a crucial time. reimer's return has been abysmal; his record has been utterly awful since he came back.

it's been disgusting. just admit that at least.

while i think some goalies thrive when you have another goalie of comparable record/talent to compete with, i think with other goalies that kind of uncertainty hurts their confidence.

play one of them consistently and you'll see better results, imo. and the better one to ride this season out with is gustavsson -- based on play this season.

regardless, i concede that both gustavsson and reimer are 2a and 2b goalies on an ECHL team at best (certainly not 1a 1b NHL goalies).

i just think that gustavsson is 2a ECHL, whereas reimer is 2b ECHL.

His season has been dismal, but has shown glimpses of what he can be. And what he CAN be was shown last year/beginning of this year before Gionta ran him over. You cannot set aside what he has accomplished. Sophomore jinx plus a concussion is nothing to be looked over.

2A ECHL goalie? The same Gustavsson who went to the AHL last season on a conditioning stint and pretty much dominated? Some of you people are ridiculous.

I know there are injuries, but that forward line-up is one of the worst I've seen on any team for any game in a long time.

Fortunately the Leafs are strong on the back end to make up for them.

EDIT: Ashton's first experience of Carlyle.
Don't mind this. Too many times Wilson sat behind the Leaf bench like a stoic, watching the game get away from him, doing nothing.

Peopel seem to forget even in his rookie year he had head issues. He was hit I think 2-3 times last year in the head and this year once and got a concussion. Lets see how well you'd fair getting a concussion and lack of confidence see how far that gets you. I hate how quickly fans turn on players because they're not better than Patrick Roy its annoying as hell. Soon people forget Reimer was 4-0-1! before his concussion, his skill was still there. Give the guy some time, sophomore slumps happen and unfortunately it happened after a concussion

As mentioned, anything from Burke's Dog House is glorious. Not cheap but oh so worth it.

As for the vinegar soaked french fries, I've never experienced it nor can I really imagine them doing that without your approval first.

Enjoy the game.
