The rink/stadium "tour de stade" sounds like an awesome series of trips. Hell, you could publish a few coffeetable books with good photos. Let me know if you wind up in Austin, there are a few bars down here nice enough to put on hockey games.
I will definetely let you know. I wouldn't go to Dallas without a stop in Austin. I work quite a bit with a japanese production company and they just signed to do some commercials with Yu Darvish. I may be in Texas in May to work on them.

Will the Islanders make the playoffs this season?

Im disappointed that Nino hasn't produced now a bit more but it looks like he is not ready for the NHL. That doesn't mean he is not talented because he for sure is. He's also not playing with a line that is helping him much.

Although I'd take Haley on the lineup over Reasoner any day, I don't disagree. Reasoner may be a good 4th center to have on a playoff team with better wingers, but the Islanders squad I see needs the kind of inspiration/example of "never back down" provided by players in the ilk of guys like Steve Webb, Brandon Prust, Zenon Konopka.

In playoff hockey, Haley would be a guy I may look for reasons to bench (and be ready to call up in case a series carries on like Toronto in 2001) when a playoff-bound Isles team has more swagger, but right now they need intensity more. I'm happy with the call-up and hope Haley impresses enough to un-polarize the board.

Awesome, let me know. May should be well enough before the drought/114ºF weather starts the next dust bowl.

It's a fake jersey, a couple were made by...people who make fake jerseys. Back when the first concept came out.

They're already making bad decisions with the puck. Niederreiter falls down way too much. Should be in Portland building strength.

Cut the kid some slack, he got blinsided by Clarkson.

NN actually looks like one our better players thus far tonight. Made Larsson look like a cone on that one play.

He made a good play, sure. I'll give him that.

But the blindside by Clarkson is not the spill I was talking about. He fell like a house of cards another time in this game. And he's picking himself up off the ice every game.

Haley-Reasoner-Martin would be a respectable 4th/energy line. You know, should we ever figure out the second and third line issues.

On the Devils broadcast, Chico said he interviewed a few Islanders and they said they think the Devils and Pens are going to be the hardest to beat in the playoffs. Thought that was cool.

Hope the Devils win but I don't mind if we give you guys a point

Because if there's anyone who knows anything about the playoffs, it's us. LOL
