You'll have to ask the residents of the English cities that they're named after...

Worcester has 2 losses in regulation. one each to Manchester and Hartford.

Manchester is pronounced Manchestah by allot of people that i speak to. its not done intentionally just the way that Northeast accent is.

while losing maxim and fedor will hurt, liffiton and taylor i think well do or as good as a job as the 2 russians did. they'll also get a boost of offense when jeff hamilton returns and lundmark will be back in the fold so it should help them.

If you think Worcester is bad, try saying (in Bostonian, of course) Cochituate, Billerica, Gloucester, Norfolk, Medford, and a ton of other cities that should sound the way they're spelled...

Lehoux had two more points and was +3. Funny to go back and read some of the 'Nucks fans tout Jason King in the past--and how "Lehoux could never catch up with him in the AHL scoring race." Go Lehoux Go!

Well, you should go back and read some of the awful things Kings fans(myself included) were saying about Lehoux this time last year.

BTW Welcome to the board.

To be fair, Jason King is doing a great job for Manitoba as well...Sarno too.

I don't think anyone would've predicted Lehoux doing as well as he has this season.

Absolutely, I can't disagree with that; but if you go back and read some of the posts, King was talked of as God's gift to the AHL. Lehoux always had the talent to be this good--since juniors, but now he is bring the effort to the rink every night. That is a major turning point in any career, and I think Manchester is witnessing a young player undergoing that change.

Sarno, however, I have been very impressed with.

Shootout

I was there last night and I just want to say... The shootout IMO is the best rule change I've seen yet.

Best rule they have - and hopefully it'll make its way to the NHL. The players aren't wild about it, but it's incredibly exciting for the fans to watch - and with a goaltender like Garon there to show off his talents, it's gotta be a blast.
