Please Lose. There has to be some sort of prize for watching Lombardi, Armstrong, Connolly and Komisarek all year. It's not the playoffs, we're too far away, so it's the draft pick.

Looks like GP-W-L-OT-Pts . Well, hope for a good game. Philly's been good of late, even Bryz has started playing like a good goalie!

Scoreboard watching
If you're pushing for the playoffs:
BOS > WSH
NJ > NYI
OTT > BUF
CAR > TB

If you're for tanking:
WSH > BOS
COL > EDM (although a bit farfetched the game has any impact on the Leafs either way)
BUF > OTT
CAR > TB in OTL or SO
NYI > NJ
ANA > DAL
MTL > VAN
and the rest are too far off to impact the Leafs either way.

Frattin is a healthy scratch. He was pretty bad in his last game but I still would have liked to see him play.

I'd have liked to see him in tonight especially with the Flyers being a physical team. That top line just scares the hell out of me.

Even the most die hard has to be wishing for a tank. I hope it's close but still want a loss. They are so close to that 4th pick.

I'm going to start the 1st fire Carlyle thread if he doesn't stop starting Gus.

good god, I hope they're not thinking of re-signing him next year. Start Reimer, let go of Gus in the summer and sign a vet goalie for next season. Enough already.

Anyways, hoping for some kinda win streak.

go leafs go!

I think it's obvious Carlyle is going with the goalie who he thinks gives him the best chance of winning, and as much as a lot of you guys seem to be against the idea, he's absolutely right.

I agree that Gus is currently our best goalie option. He seems to let in a soft goal in most games, but so does Reimer. The biggest difference is that Gustavsson can also make some big saves to keep us in it, which Reimer hasn't shown all that much of this season. I also think they want to give Jonas a bunch of starts to end the year off to decide whether they should re-sign him or not.

You can be Reimer fan, that's fine. But you can't see that Gus is playing better right now? C'mon.

Loss today and loss tomorrow would pretty much put the leafs 9 points out which seals it depending on if Washington wins.
