Caron stays on 1 until Pevs is back to speed then they switch.
That's what I was thinking, but they may give a chance to Caron on line #1 going forward if they can contribute some offense this week. If so, Pevs would help with the third line scoring.
Not sure anyone caught this... but I hear that Chia was on Toucher and Rich this morning and said "there will be some changes once our forwards come back."
If this is actually what he said... it makes it sound like he believes in a Horton return. Any news on Horts?
Thought I read somewhere that Horton was riding the bike. However I do agree that time is getting short for him to start skating if they expect a return by the end of the season or for the playoffs.
I do think the organization has been pretty mum though about what is going on with Horton.
Why? He's been working out, once he starts skating it will be probably only 2 weeks til he's back in the lineup
I don't know I guess it's just me, by the time he starts skating and we see around the league guys skating for a couple of weeks before they are given the green light and all I just feel like his season is done. I don't know, it's just a gut feeling
it's still possible Horton returns, a lot of people jump to the conclusion that he is done for the year but nobody really knows anything.
When I think of Savard I hope Horton doesn't come back for a playoff push. I'd much prefer he just rest until next season. I'd love to have him back but I'd much prefer he continue a long career.
PJ, remember: there are a lot of M. D.s who contribute to this site who are unanimous Horts is done for the year!
yea, and i don't mean any disrespect to anybody giving their opinion but the Bruins have been very quiet regarding Horton. that doesn't mean anything good or bad, it just means we don't know. theres just a lot of people who are completely writing him off and i think it's premature.

i agree that he shouldn't come back until he is 100% healthy. i have had four concussions playing hockey and i know how damaging they can be. but if the doctors clear him i trust it means he is 100% healthy. i fully expect the doctors to be careful with him, but he still could be ready. everyone reacts to concussions differently.
coach claude julien noted after the 40-minute workout that he “predicts’’ rich peverley’s return will be “sooner rather than later,’’ but that the injured right winger (knee) may not see action on this trip, which wraps up sunday night in anaheim
A source close to the right winger told CSNNE.com that there have been no extensive organizational conversations about shutting down Horton as of yet, but the B's concussed power forward “[won’t be returning] anytime soon.”
With six games left in the regular season after Tuesday night’s tilt against the Tampa Bay Lightning, not much time is left for Horton attempt a comeback. And it doesn’t appear he will be attempting that comeback soon.
“[They] haven’t had those discussions yet, but it’s not too difficult to figure it out,” the source said when asked if the B’s have reached a point where it makes sense to shut down Horton for the year.
Team 1040 in Vancouver is reporting that Boston has shut down Horton for the season. I am assuming that it is from the Haggs report but just a heads up that the news made it out here.
