Did you know?

We have a three game winning streak with the Blue Jerseys! How about that! And one more is coming up in two weeks!

Good job Beezer. Pretty big win tonight! Carolina has been solid for a while now so to beat them is great. Still hoping that this kind of win will catapult our confidence and we start to roll from here on out.

lol, how fast did NHL.com make the 3/8 switch between us and wash after their game? Now lets see how long it takes for them to switch it back.

Why do our TV guys ask the stupidest questions?
Goldie just asked Dineen this: Is it fun to be in a playoff race?

Well, to be fair, they haven't had any practice with playoff-related questions for over a decade now.

Thread on the main boards that today's game was illegal. Apparently games need 22 hours between start times for teams, and Carolina was at exactly 22, except daylight savings time struck.

I was I had been at the game but I can safely say that I am not the "bearded guy". I only caught the third period due to a prior engagement. My first thought was is this Jovo? even just watching the third period. Thought they had alot of energy and Theo was Theo. Glad he got a much deserved shutout. Very big considering Washington won also today. On to Tuesday night now and another must win.

Jovo played really well. The more physical he plays, the better he is. They d-men have done a good job in recent weeks of being tough around the net.

I've never heard of this. Even so, I would think the league and NHLPA would have already taken care of that beforehand. They wouldn't have let them take the ice if it was an issue.

just got back from the game a little while ago some observations:

I though flash and bergenheim were our two best forwards tonight. Bergenheims value should not be measured in goals and assists but in forechecking, creating offensive plays, and as being the hardest working man on the team.

If we had a team full of bergenheims this would be a stanley cup champion.

On defense i cant say enough good things about gudbranson. All night long using his body and making good passes. His physicality creates momentum for our team when he is on the ice.

Theodore was a wall.

I dont know if anyone has watched soupy defensively lately but i cant help but notice how lazy he is in our own zone. He is getting beat to the puck and made several bad passes that lead to turnovers.
I would not be surprised if he is playing with injury.

it wasnt pretty but we got the W, 7 more where that came from and you will be hearing my cowbell in the BAC come mid april.

They'd have to take away the Caps two points as well, since the Leafs had to do the same thing today.

In the words of Billy Lindsay, this is probably a "mute" point.

thinking 8 or at least 7-6-1. That forces pegs or buf to go 9-2-2. Good on them if they do.

I've noticed the same thing, myself. Have even mentioned it in the GDT's lately.

It seems like he could use a "maintenance day."

At the risk of jinxing the whole thing, has the NHL released the tentative schedule for the first round?
