Cally hasn't looked the same since he came back from his foot injury so it's probably better off if he heals up and gets some rest. He looked horrible on Friday.
I'd like to see Boyle on the 4th line but that's probably not going to happen with Cally out. I can live him not producing offensively if he's going to bring solid defense night in and night out, but he's been struggling defensively as of late. He can barely stay on his skates, perhaps a refresher course with Barb Underhill is needed.

Zucc absolutely has to play with any combo of Richards, Gabby, Stepan, Arty, or Hagelin. If Torts shoves him in the bottom 6 he's a total ****ing moron.
i would not be surprised to see zuccs on a line with hagelin, since they had some really good chemistry together in CT back in the beginning of the season...but def needs to be in a top 6 role to be effective

The Rangers have to win this game against an opponent they SHOULD beat. The Islanders always play hard in these match-ups, but that's no excuse for the Rangers.

i wouldnt be surprised his lines are based off who he likes not who has skill zucc will probably get like 5 minutes and be replaced by mitchell early in the game

Just like every night, Torts will give minutes to whoever plays well. If MZA plays well, he'll get plenty of ice time. If he does nothing but turn the puck over and loses board battles, he won't play. It's as simple as that.
I think this is a HUGE game, but I'm not as worried as most are. It's a combination of improbables with the Rangers/Pens. It'll balance out soon enough, IMO. The Rangers DO need to start playing a MUCH better game, however.
