I think this is a HUGE game, but I'm not as worried as most are. It's a combination of improbables with the Rangers/Pens. It'll balance out soon enough, IMO. The Rangers DO need to start playing a MUCH better game, however.
Law of averages says the Pens have to lose eventually.
Then again it didn't really apply when the Devils won 11 straight and the Rangers lost 5 straight en route to losing the division and getting swept in 4 by the Devils in 06.
This is zuccs chance to show himself again. I think torts will let him be on the line with hagelin, anisimov or stepan because if he wanted to call up somebody to the third or fourth line, he would have called up someone stronger and more physical player.
Hopefully, Zucc plays well and make a good appearence, so he can be traded to another team in the nhl this summer.
and who knows, maybe there will be a shootout tonight..
gross just tweeted mza recalled per the ahl website!
here is one of his biggest chances of his career...hope he is in tonight
My consern,if he doesn`t sit, that this will be his third game in three days. Lets not expect too much of him.
If Cally is out for more games, and Zucc have some rest and som skating with the team,THEN he have to realy show up.
He needs to get healthy. He was a -3 the other day. If sitting down for a few games in March means that he's 100% for the playoffs, then I'm all for it.

Let`s go Rangers
two reasons why that does not worry me...1) Their schedule, they have about 6-7 days off between games and then play 2, and i think very rarely have play 3 games in 3 nights, not sure if they did this season 2) He should be running on adrenaline with excitement!
Let's see if he goes to the way of Corey Locke (huge moment in his career and he plays like a lazy piece of ****) or Hagelin. Because he looked far too comfortable when he originally made the team out of camp this year.
We could really use Del Zotto and Callahan though. Worst possible time for this all to be occurring.
Sitting Callahan is the wrong message to send to the locker room. He could tough it out against Ottawa and Chicago but Torts just let everyone know that the Islanders aren't important enough. Meanwhile, this is game 7 of the SCF for the Isles.
