I used to live right by the Morgan L myself.. corner of white and boerum. But I just moved to Nutley, NJ a year ago.

Still work in the city, so would be nice to have a Devils bar to go to in manhattan.

Too bad on the sound part. For those still interested in gathering today, let's decide where / what time.....

Probably at least 10 or 12 folks. I wonder how many people will normally be drinking at a little hole-in-the-wall like that on a Wednesday night? And it involved a NEW YORK team to boot, lol. It's not like Phoenix vs. Kings audio was being requested.

The ******** from the Rangers fans at the end of the game, especially right after the Clarkson goal, was quite amusing to me.

Any suggestions for a NYC location to watch Game 3? I know it will be a lot tougher to find a place with a least a couple Devils fans considering its the weekend but let me know if any of you are planning on watching somewhere in the city. I might just make the trek to Hoboken...

I do watch reality shows, but I've actually met Adam a few times at the games and Krinkle knows him really well.

Watch the game at one of the bars outside the Prudential Center.

.
Very good suggestion.
Take the train over to Newark Penn and walk to one of the bars near The Rock.
They will have the game on.
I would suggest Edison Ale House, Loft 47 or Brick City Bar & Grill, but there are other options too nearby.

Loft 47 is my favorite spot on the block. Their wings are incredible (the grilled ones, especially Hennessy BBQ), and their $15 bucket of 5 Buds are the best pregame you could ask for. I think those buckets single-handedly made a few sections of The Rock pretty intimidating for people in orange to go to last round..

Zeppelin Hall's awesome! They put the games on both projector screens last time with the sound cranked up in the entrance room. Also, there's a bunch of tables outside with a perfect view of the screen if you want to hang outside or bring some non-fans out for the day.

There are some people in Rangers gear. No one that lives in that area of Jersey City is from Jersey City unfortunately, but for the Rangers-Capitals game 7, it was 50/50 Rangers-Devils fans actually haha.. So I'm sure on game-day, there'll be plenty of peeps in red..

I will be watching Game 3 with some friends on the big screen at the Beer Garden, 35-33 36th Street, Long Island City (Queens)....

http://www.studiosquarenyc.com/visit-the-beer-garden

Hope some of you will be able to join.

As for Game 4 on Monday, any preferences for a place in Manhattan?

My apartment is a 10 minute walk from there. Never been there though.

I love Edison Ale House...their wings are really good and so is the pizza! Nice beer selections as well.

As a resident of the area, I'm a bit torn at times on Zeppelin Hall. Usually they're good about showing the Devils, but if for whatever reason something isn't on and you ask them to change to it...good luck. May never happen.

That being said, if somebody's going to go there to catch any weekday games, GO EARLY. Their happy hour special is fantastic: half off on all beers and well drinks. Gets pricey during game time, so pregame and then order food during the game.

Iron Monkey has the best beer selection, though, and a killer menu.

Other than that, you can usually bank on O'Hara's Downtown having games on, Skinner's is a very, very nice joint (and it's roof deck should be open by now), but for Game 3 I'll probably just saunter next door to Lucky 7's. Lucky's styles itself like a dive, but it has plenty of TV's up, and daily specials.

They do. They really really do. Murray Hill is the worst in every aspect.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa... THE beer garden in Astoria is Bohemian, not Studio Square. Studio Square is like the Seaside Heights of beer gardens. Bohemian is this ancient Czech place. Studio Square serves sushi and opened up like 3 years ago. I like both, a lot, but Bohemian owns. (And they have their own club hockey team).

That said, watching a game at a beer garden is a great idea.

Any gatherings happening tomorrow in NYC? I'm a diehard Isles fan with a soft spot for the Devs (and most importantly...I hate the Rangers). My friends here aren't into hockey, so I was thinking I would check the boards to see if anything was going on. It would be more fun watching the game at a bar than alone on my couch!

the enemy of my enemy is my friend I guess ?

but seriously guys please be careful when drinking with a load of drunken rangers fans, especially if you guys take game 3. It could get very ugly and it would royally bite if someone got hurt for cheering the "other" team.

best of luck in the series !

from a guy living in Asia with ZERO hockey fans around
