It seems now the sea of injuries will be and should be more of a focus for the media and fans because the goalie controversy, for now, appears to be no more. Bryz has found peace in his soul, and now we as fans can breathe easier come Saturday.
how about: 'Let's all root for our goalie to do well, instead of going to absurd negative extremes if he plays poorly for 20 games !'
When your 5.6 million dollar goalie plays poorly for 20 games, that's actually really abysmal. Your statement still doesn't make much sense, because everyone wanted Bryz to be better. We wanted to see him succeed. It's not like people were happy and satisfied that he was doing badly.
Dude why do you take anything negative said about Bryz personally?
i don't take it personally, i'm just observing how a few here went to absurd negative extremes. i've said plenty of negative things when i thought Bryz was at fault, even as others defended him [Detroit game].
i just didn't go as far as calling him a bust, BUM, fat, lazy, hoping he got hurt, cut etc etc etc
don't let that bother you personally.

its quite simple really if you dont agree with someone just laff it off or put em on ignore..
that's great advice.
it sure seemed that i was given plenty of flack when i expressed my opinions on Bryz ..... unless i said that he was at fault, then that was OK.
i think a few here went WAY overboard in bashing Bryz. i'm sorry if me noticing that bothers you.
it's no different than people here posting that i'm too positive.
not sure how someone saying they've seen enough, and he should be cut, calling him lazy, fat, hoping he gets hurt can be construed as that.
You're construing it wrong. That was people trying to find reasons for his failings...and who wanted him cut? You can't cut players in the NHL.
Edit: Oh please. Give me a break. So...criticizing a player for being bad in 20 games or more is a negative extreme? If anything it's perfectly warranted.
Edit 2: You're also taking knee-jerk reactions after bad games from a minority and acting like those opinions represent the majority's views.

the fact that he cant be cut, does not erase that people here wanted him cut. and cutting him is not trying to find reasons for poor play.
hoping he gets hurt is not trying to find reasons for poor play.
i've criticized poor play. and noting those who went WAY overboard in my view. sorry if that bothers you. just my opinion.
no, i'm telling that knee-jerk minority that they look silly by going to negative extremes.
I'VE NEVER said those opinions represent the majority's views, i've always 4-5 people here are going overboard.
if you don't consider those things as going to extreme negatives, that's ok with me.

i do. we just disagree.
Again, you are latching onto extreme knee-jerk reactions and acting as if those are the opinions shared by everyone who dared to criticize Bryz while he sucked. It's not the case. You're creating a reality that doesn't exist.
The National Hockey League announced today that Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov has been named the 'First Star' of the week ending Mar. 11.
In his last four games, Bryzgalov posted a perfect 4-0-0 record, an astounding 0.49 goals-against average and .985 save percentage to go along with three shutouts, including two in back-to-back fashion over the Florida Panthers and Toronto Maple Leafs respectively
That is awesome. I'm proud to have a goalie named "FIRST STAR" by the NHL. Damn, that's good. He's elevated him game and by the way we played last night, were gonna need it
