Well, Pens just sent a couple of defencemen back to the AHL, so it looks like space for Crosby has been made. I'd be surprised if he's not playing on Thursday.

On our board it is being said that it was a cap saving move with five days off. There might be more going on, but honestly it likely means just that.

Of course Crosby doesn't come back to play the rough and tough Bruins. I'm sure he'll chalk it up to not feeling right. Come Thursday he'll feel 125%.
