We'd have actual third liners on our third line and not a bottom 6 of 4th liners! Hagelin-Arty-Korpedo would be a nasty third line.

Well, Pens just sent a couple of defencemen back to the AHL, so it looks like space for Crosby has been made. I'd be surprised if he's not playing on Thursday.

If we lose to the Isles tonight, I'd be shocked if we didn't end up in 6th place this season.

If that did actually happen we'd play the winner of the southeast division which would be a favorable matchup.

I am willing to bet large sums of money his first game back is against us.
Always happens to us.

Everyone has us pegged to lose first place in the conference. How about we prove them wrong every once in a while?

Yeah, it's really annoying. Especially the people bringing up 2006.

Of course Geno won't get anything, he's the backup poster boy on the poster team for the NHL.
And honestly, chances are we will lose 1st in the east the way we and the Pens have been playing. Just same ol' NYR hubbub.

On our board it is being said that it was a cap saving move with five days off. There might be more going on, but honestly it likely means just that.

Of course Crosby doesn't come back to play the rough and tough Bruins. I'm sure he'll chalk it up to not feeling right. Come Thursday he'll feel 125%.

Why would he return against a goon team?

"If anything, a bigger game like that (the Rangers on Thursday), you focus even more, you have to be that much more ready. This isn't the time to go out there and feel your way around, these are important games. I've got to make sure I'm ready and I'm responsible out there." -- Sidney Crosby on his potential return
