Underrrated play by Sobotka on that backcheck on the Nash chance. His hustle made the pass have to be led farther and Nash had weaker angle, weaker shot for Halak to stop.
There was a lot of dipsy doodle cutery on that PP. Really looked awful. Seems like the Blues feel like the Jackets are done and are coming off the gas a bit.
Insane. What is more ridiculous is how no one even notices. I don't really care though. I much prefer our great play and players to fly under the radar.
Why does our off-wing winger always seem to be too low and out of position on the PP? Seems like I always see them hanging out at the bottoms of the off wing circle. They're not close enough to the boards for the big wraparound pass and they're too far from the net to add traffic.

You'd think we'd at least try to put another goal or two on the board before getting so comfortable.

Pietrangelo is the best d-man currently. Much like the Ovechkin/Crosby debate, Pietrangelo is the best because he actually plays defense and doesn't turn the puck over. He just took a little longer than some to reach his potential. We're seeing the beginning of a hall of fame career.
I am not a fan of the thirds, to those who commented on it earlier. I also felt it was too redundant and Florida-like. Everyone has the circle crests it seems. I hate the circle crests. We took a great idea with the cannon, and ruined it. Par for our course, I suppose.

We're probably going to get an extra penalty for this, and lose Stewart for 5 minutes in exchange for Boll. I appreciate the effort to be a good teammate Stewart, but this isn't going to help the Blues win this game.
