goalie ratings are really imaterial, if another guy is going to cross crease all game you could have a 99 goalie and they are not going to stop it or the short side glitch. Seems like even a 99 goalie can't stop that one.

goalies really dont seem to mean much in this game. i've lost games where i outshoot the other guy 30-8 and i lose 4-2 because my 97 overall rask can't stop a beach ball but the other guy's unboosted junior goalie is playing lights out.

I was losing 9-0, then EA Servers failed to synchronize resulting in the game ending and not counting towards the leader boards.

I'll give you kudos for even staying in a game that long. Once I go down by even four goals I really don't even see the poing in staying in the game any longer.

Bought a 99 Ryan Johansen with 89 game contract card for about 5200 pucks. Then I bought a 96 Nino Niederreiter card with 65 games for 2300 pucks. After that I didn't see any other linemates of theirs other than a 90 Ty Rattie for a BIN of 5000. Decided to buy him to complete the line. Still surprised how cheap I got the first two for.

I never buy used cards. Only time I'll buy a used player is if I see it going for dirt cheap and I know I can re-sell it for a profit.

Just bought a Stamkos for 25k on xbox..

99 SKT
99 SHT
99 HND
91 CHK
92 DEF

110 career
95 contract

Big steal imo. Stamkos using goes for about 25k untouched. This one was perfectly trained (and 80 gamers costs like 15k).

Does anyone think an UT ASG Koivu for 5600 on PS3 is a good deal?

That is a good deal. Can usually get some steals when deal packs are out.

That's ridiculous. I sold the same thing on PS3 (two games were played, however) and got around 65k for it

Can't wait to check back tomorrow to see what all of my cards I had up for three days sold for. I'm expecting around 15,000 pucks. Should easily be enough to buy 18 30 game contracts along with a good number of consumables to finally train up my "naked" team.

Not too big of a steal, but I managed to get an UT SOTW Letang for 5200 pucks. Might be able to sell him for 3-4k profit, or pair him in my lineup with my Suter who won't sell.

I don't even want to know how long it took you to get all the pucks required to build that team or how much money you spent on packs.

I just get really lucky with packs. I got a Malkin a couple weeks ago and in the pack before that I got a Datsyuk. I have built up a collection of trained lines of NHL'ers that all have a atleast 25 games at base salary, and they are all atleast 88 overall ( trained ). If I used all my different players, I could have atleast 5 teams of dominance. I probably won't have to buy anything for the next 3 months or so.

My lineup that I've been using a lot recently..

Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Howe
99 Couturier - 99 Johansen - 99 Landeskog
MacArthur - Grabovski - Kulemin
super low salary guys (600, 610, 620)

Suter - Weber
SOTW Kronwall - SOTW Shattenkirk
Staal - Girardi

Rinne
Lindback

Basically that lineup, but I also use a bunch of different top lines..

Hossa - Toews - Kane
Perry - Getzlaf - Ryan
Neal - Malkin - Staal

Are my favourites.. the other three lines and my defense stays the same though.

Try switching Malkin and Staal and put Neal on the RW, and Malikin on the LW. Staal is good on faceoffs, and Neal is a best on one knee clappers from Malkin's passes.
