NC State vs San Diego State is a much better game, watching that one now instead

I'm clicking back and forth. I think Texas is going to come out firing next half.

Yancy Gates is too much. Texas has too much youth.

I used to rag on that strategy until a few years ago when the Final Four was all four #1 seeds. Its no fun to pick that way, but once in a while they may be right. Until I start winning my pools doing something different, good for the people picking favorites.

I'm flipping back and forth. I have Cincinnati going farther than I do any of the other 3 teams (I have SD State losing in the 2nd round), so I'm more concerned with them in general. But this game isn't exactly close. I'll probably be watching the 2nd half of SD State/NC State exclusively by that point in time.

I don't mind the strategy, I just find it amusing when people brag about it. Not saying P4P was, just in general.

People pick the tournament based on the numbers a committee of experts assigned to teams, and they're so proud of themselves for picking solely based on who has the lower number.

Pretty much. I think the lowest I picked this year was a 11. I usually pick a 12 seed and did pretty well with that but passed on it this year

I'm not bragging. I couldn't care less this year

I'm loving that Texas made a game out of this. And now its pretty damn exciting. Still want Cincy to pull it out though. Don't need to lose 3 Sweet 16 teams before 2:30 on Day 2.

Glad Ian Eagle is calling the game. But I still want Gus back

He is. But Gus Johnson would have flipped a **** about 10 times by now. Then again, I just wish Gus could be calling every game at the same time. Or at least the last 5 minutes of every game.

Cincy should have this one locked up now. And now I can switch to a close game between NC State and SD State. Woo. And with the way things are going, Alabama/Creighton is looking like it should be a good one when that ends too. Hooray March Madness.

Texas either just had some awful coaching or some awful decision making. They get clobbered in the first half playing selfish basketball. Then they play team basketball, looking for the extra pass, and they straight dominate Cinci. Then they tie the game, and revert back to selfish basketball and lose.

Blows my mind.

I don't think it was orange per se, but it certainly wasn't their standard red.

Belmont is going to beat them both. At least, if my predictions have any truth to them.

Grant Hill could have been a really special player if injuries didn't wear him down

We'll see about that. Belmont does make me nervous.
