This seems very unlike him, when he was in Providence, with the exception of that Rockford game, he would face everyone pretty cleanly. He is one of the most feared fighters, because he will knock you out of your socks.

We don't know if someone said something to him or what set him off. Kind of sucks that we don't know the reasoning for him flying off the handle.
I'd say that Rockford-Providence game someone had to have said something, there's 2 Icehogs there and he's skating near them then he just lost it. So obviously something was said.

So Amadio wouldn't fight him but he fights the top scorer so to retaliate beat up the goalie? Look i'm all for running over the goalie but within reason. There was no play or opprunity legit wise existing that he should have done this.

Dave Andrews is an idiot. Big Mac acted like a Big Clown. 4 games for completely throwing the ref to the ice and constantly making contact with just about everyone for springfield who was on the ice and the refs is BS. Shannahan would have given him a lot longer if this were the NHL. The AHL needs to establish a position for players safety like the NHL has
