Occupying the spot on the bench behind the players during a game is good for me.

Can't think of any other redeeming or residual qualities I would like to see carried forward.

Being able to type "HANTA YO BABY!" and "LET'S GO!" in GDTs while the Leafs are losing horribly.

Other than that... nothing

Pinching D is fine so long as the forward moves to the point and covers. Take a look at how often the D pinches with teams like Detroit, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Vancouver, and Nashville. It's just a matter of having the right system in play and forwards that buy into it.

No doubt. I should have expressed that this team isn't really suited for an aggressive defense, at this time.

Wow you can sure see the difference in run and gun vs defensive system.

How many quality scoring chances did we get last night? 2? 3?

We certainly held them to a minimum of chances, but they definitely had more chances and more extended pressure.

In Wilson's run and gun, we were generating chances ad infinitum, but not covering back on D adequately.

Given how big the Leafs are in the ratings on HNIC, I wonder if Burke is intentionally trying to **** with HNIC by turning the Leafs in a team that plays boring hockey. He knows the games will sell out in Toronto, regardless.
