Because you need to keep the PK'ers on their heels knowing that there are guys out there that can make plays. Makes them defensive.
Thats why our PP was better today.

MZA was making great passes all night on the PP.

Guy can play offense at the NHL level, it's not a question. Put him on a third line with Arty and someone who's not Rupper.

I agree. Playing him over Scott is a no-brainer but aside from the puck movement on the OT PP, he didn't show that much. Again he should be playing, but I disagree that he was one of our 3 best players tonight.

And I laugh out freaking loud if you have Gaborik as a top 3 player of the game. The guy can only get a shot off if he's on a 4 on 3. What a sniper!

Richards best game as a Ranger, IMO. He created something every shift. Was dynamic. Exciting hockey. He skated with a swagger I haven't seen him skate with. Great game, and a huge reason we won the game.

Idk man. When I'm at games I think its pretty obvious from my seat in the 400's that there is no room to shoot in certain situations.

On the PP and 4 on 4 MZA makes every one on the ice better as he is poised with the puck and moves it quickly to the open man and tape to tape .
5 on 5 his size probably a problem at times but to have him and use him the way Tampa uses Bergeron IMO IS a no brainer . Move him around the lineup , pick your spots with him and I think he is productive .
BR Had a dominant game and that's in him but IMO playing him and a less grinding more puck possession game with some skill players works

I actually think Zuke will stick and be a PP specialists like he was 2nite.

Honestly Torts will run 3 main lines in the playoffs. So having Zuke on the 4th line where he can be pushed up or just play on the PP is a good idea.

Only thing that scares me is Torts still played Mitchell on the PP......jeebus

Guy has good offensive instincts, but he's atrocious at the defensive side of the puck. He's also far too small to play in a bottom 6 role and he isn't good enough to play in the top 6.

haha i hear you man, but we know how it is with other ppl at the game even some die hards do that i have seen it from the 4s. im in the 3s this year i hear it too. sometimes i just think its the anxiety from the alcohol with other fans lolol.
