I'm still looking for old camcorder footage of 'slapshot' feeling up the ladies.

It would be huge to get a win in their barn on Tuesday.

LMAO

Edit: Also, looks like Gomez has 2 goals now, not just one, so it's good that Volch is keeping pace.

While true, I find myself having nervous breakdowns everytime we're playing in Philly. Game is always intense.

I have to say, it has been a real treat to watch Kovalchuk play this year.

The only better point per game producers in the league are Crosby (8GP), Malkin, Giroux, and Stamkos.

yeah kovy has been a hell of a player. i know his goal totals aren't spectacular (consistency aside), but the fact that hes a PPG player + really does speak volumes about his game.

I just want us to get to the playoffs. That was my goal. I also just wanted us to win one of these games vs Philly here, and now I'm not content. Now I want more! I want a playoff series too!

5 more wins will get us to 95 points, and will definitely be good for 7th place at the worst. Probably still 6th. We've gotten 4 wins this week, so it shouldn't be a challenge. Capitals will have to win like 10 of 13 to get there, and Buffalo, and Winnipeg would have to win all, but one game remaining to get there.

We just need to show up to play teams like Colorado, and other chumps we have left like TB, and Toronto. Take those teams seriously like we took the Islanders seriously, and took the competitive teams seriously like the Rangers last week, and Philly tonight.

I've been saying from the last day of last season I just want a playoff run. A sweep is better than not making it at all. If we were eliminated in the first round I would be bummed for a week. If we don't make the playoffs at all I will be bummed the whole Summer, and won't look forward to October.

That was beautiful today. Any mistake Philly made we saw it, and took advantage of it. We paid attention. Play next game like that, and it will at the very least be competitive. Play Colorado like that, and it we will crush them!

Amen brother. Taking TB and TML seriously will be the toughest task of the season. Hell, finishing the rest of the schedule on a winning note will be tough.

The beauty of the situation is that we really don't know whats going on in the locker-room. The camaraderie that our guys show night in and night out is fantastic, dont get me wrong. Yet we lose to the teams that we NEED to win against. I see the trend reversing itself with that last sentence though. And I like that. Im excited for the rest of the season. Not because im a homer devils fan, but because the talent is there. Its right ****ing there. And all that is needed...is execution.

Yup losing to teams like TB, and not showing up for the Isles last Sunday made go ballistic. I do think Nilsson proved the last game he wasn't a fluke. Hopefully they start him against the Caps Tuesday!

I flew to Jersey to see the game vs Tampa for the weekend. I came with my buddy who lives by me. We're both from Jersey, and we wanted to go to a game with our buddy in Jersey. I've went with my buddy in Jersey since. We had season tickets together for years, but the three of us haven't been to a Devils game together since the 01 Finals when he moved, and then I moved this past Fall.

It sucked cause we live 45 minutes from the Forum. If we wanna see Tampa Bay win we can drive 45 minutes to see it! They have a great home record! If I wanted to see a Marty St Louis hat trick I would have stayed home!

Yeah Colorado are chumps too. Is Milan Hejduk seriously not 45 years old yet? That team sucks, but they go in streaks of 5 straight wins, 6 straight losses. They're in one of their hot streaks now, and blew us out 6-1 last time. Eh gross I hate that team. Gimme Stastny, and get the hell out of here! A lot of no names, and lots of Irish folk with last names beginning with O, and Mc!

I can't believe I didn't give up on that team after their pathetic second half last season.

Don't know if anyone posted this earlier, but Devils got back on NHL.com has a front-page headline puns with their win last night:

It was a slow day. Boston lost, Ovechkin didn't score, Malkin had no goals today, and Stamkos, and his suck team had the day off. Finally they recognize Kovalchuk! Couldn't for the hat trick though?

I remember the line ''Devils crown Kings'' when we shut out the Kings earlier this year. That sounded stupid. Sounded like by ''Crowning Kings'' we gave them a win.
