@lascher19: About to hit the golf course with my boi Sami Vatanen. He's been talking about his golf game all week. Time put up or shut up!
While our swede prospects hanging out with other prospects, Vatanen hangs out with the big boys already

consider me high on Welinski, he's got alot of upside. has to be one of our top 10 prospects after the season he just had, he kind of reminds me of Jamie McBain, big shot, great skater reads plays well, seems to have a good hockey IQ

"He's a skilled, two-way player and first-round caliber prospect, just all around really solid," said Etem of Kerdiles.

The two players go back to their adolescence, where they formed a mutual esteem that will carry into their careers as likely teammates at the top level.

“He’s always been a good role model for me,” Kerdiles said. “It’s pretty special for two California guys to be drafted by a hometown team. It’s a fun time right now.”

I like this!

Kerdiles-Holland-Etem in few years . Unless Kerdiles wants to play center, then DSP-Kerdiles-Etem .

So the pool now

DSP, Palmieri, Holland, Vatanen, Gibson, Lindholm, Kerdiles, Rakell, Karlsson, Friberg, Welinski, Wagner, Bobkov, Roy, Cooper, Andersen, Lasch, Erixon, Clark, Maroon. and I guess Schitz...

Pretty impressive

I'm probably going to end up overrating Kerdiles quite a bit. In my limited viewing he's absolutely got first round talent, and it's my view that we got a steal.

And then now, knowing what we know. Smith Pelly, Wagner, and Welinski

I'm looking forward to hearing reports from those who are going to attend!

I view Kerdiles as possibly Kesler 2.0 depending on if he plays center or not, maybe a Morrow type winger, except Kerdiles should be bigger

That was my thought about Palmieri as well.

Not surprised DSP is there, because he's still that young. Am bit surprised with Holland though, maybe they are trying and gauge his readiness for NHL role, prior to FA market opening.

DSP's addition to the rookie camp roster may not be a sign of Anaheim's perception of his NHL readiness. It could be as simple as giving him the extra conditioning, and exposure to what it will take as an NHL player. The team might simply feel Palmieri has nothing to gain by going, but that DSP still does.

I really like Ludwig Karlsson and Dominic Poulin as tryouts. McLean has ok stats. I think we will need some players for our new AHL team and those will fit nicely.

Karlsson has size and solid although not great numbers in the NCAA - eliteprospects describes him as: A big forward with decent overall skills. Karlsson is average or above average in most game aspects. His speed is pretty good and so are his puckhandling skills. Has some grit and scoring ability.

At least OCR and Ducks-site are not hyping Vatanen to attend even though it's first time to see this Finnish League Phenomenon live in SoCal . I like it...let him fly under the radar.

There will be 2 open scrimmages, if i remember right. Anybody going to them?

I`m excited to hear how our new dreftees look, along with our FA invitings, and, definately - Vatanen.
Edit: also excited to hear about Cramarossa - he had pretty bad season because of the injuries and trade, he should be back in top form - our scouting staff saw something good in him
