Prepping for Boston - playoff "chants"
I was in awe of the Jets fans chanting "Silver...Medal..." to Ryan Miller.
What can we get going to throw the Bruins off when they are here, especially since:
- it's almost a given we will play the Bruins
- it's almost a given Boston will have home ice
What chants as a crowd would you like to see the Ottawa faithful start?
- "YES WE CAN"
- "O BA MA!"
????
Need to bring out the big guns here!!!

I've got to say, I like that one.
Everyone could print these off at home and wear them at the game:
Forget "sea of white/ red", what we need in Round 1 is a "Sea of Obama" in the stands.

all I know is, you can't say that the Miller chants in Winnipeg didn't have an effect on him...how could they not?
We need something big here. But conflicted with the whole "sportsmanship, let's not sink to that level" type of thing...

What if we don't play Boston? 12 games left,we can still catch the teams ahead of us, 2 games vs jersey, 1 vs philly and 1 vs boston among them.

It's going to be the Bruins...the only question is whether we get home ice or they do...and personally, they can have it!

if we do indeed end up playing Boston in the 1st round, I really like the idea of ''Yes We Can'' playoff push avy's.

But "Yes We Can" said backwards(backmasking) is "Thank You Satan".

Also, I think this thread might be a touch early. I really don't want Boston in round one. That said I think we can surprise them out of the gate, and take it in 7

They struggled after the white house thing, so I think O-ba-ma or something like that would be best

That'd be awesome, but knowing the ushers at SBP, you'd get kicked out pretty quickly at "**** YOU THOMAS".

We'll probably lose that series anyways (if we get there), which would make it humiliating for us.

"Please don't kill us"
Also, let's worry about this when we actually make it.

So we shouldn't cheer because it will be embarrassing if we lose?

If you're insulting the guy with personal attacks that have nothing to with hockey while he's destroying your team, that's pretty embarrassing.

Ushers are just pawns, enforcing the organizations policy that games are a family-friendly atmosphere... don't blame it on the ushers, I have it on good authority that many of them are fine people who are very good judges of character, handsome, well-read, and try to make sure that everyone in their sections has as good a time as they can while not spoiling the night for families that don't want their 5-year olds learning how to out-swear a 1940's-era merchant marine.
