Getzlaf has 3 points in his last 8 games and 1 in his last 5. Argue all you want that he's trying, getting chances and his leadership is better than last year but that kind of production is unacceptable for someone of his talent.

Agree, as I said, they should look at trying Getz on defence
I have to say that watching the Leafs play under Carlisle and seeing the more exciting Ducks style now...glad the coaching change was made from a neutral stand point at least.
And Visnovsky does seem to suck from the 2 Ducks games I've seen lately but last year, I thought he was deserving of a Norris nomination so it's tough to blame it on physical wear and say retirement...it's just a healthy problem/slump, he'll bounce back next year.

I thought last year and the cup year was some of the most exciting hockey I've ever seen. When the players are executing RC's system, I think it's a lot of fun to watch. The Ducks have been very boring lately.

No offense but that's a ridiculous idea IMO. Defense is the hardest position to play in hockey, it would take him forever to adapt. Not to mention his mobility would be a major issue. How many established NHL forwards have successfully transitioned to defense in the past? I can only think of Fedorov (who only played there for stretches, not permanently) and Dandenault, who was at best a third pairing defenseman.

I agree, the offense has completely dried up lately and the hockey hasn't been particularly entertaining. The biggest reason we won as much as we did in January & February was because of Hiller, certainly not because our forwards were scoring a lot.
Have to agree, this must be the most boring hockey I have seen from Ducks lately.
Besides scoring in the past they at least made games entertaining to watch.
