Schefter tweeting that Seatle has signed DL Jason Jones to a one-year deal. I like it.

Wow. RT @SI_PeterKing: Evidently the Cowboys were desperate for Kyle Orton. Paying him $5.9m in first year of 5-year deal.
Wow! ,, 5.9M for a backup

Pats signed Anthony Gonzalez. If he stays healthy he could be alright.

Definitely great. They need to draft DeCastro in the draft and have a top-5 O-line, with probably the best rushing attack with Cassel checking down.
Albert-Asomogah(sp?)-Hudson-DeCastro-Winston
RB: Charles and Hillis.
TE: Boss. (Who's an above average blocking TE).
Great, great free agency for them in my opinion. Shore up the D through the draft and that's a playoff caliber team in my opinion.

They were 2 blocked field goals in week 16 away from winning the division last year, which is kind of hard to believe haha. Their defence will be improved automatically by getting Berry back from injury after he missed all of last season. I personally would prefer they draft Reiff personally but I agree, shoring up the O-Line should be the priority.

Big pickup: Bengals reached agreement with safety Reggie Nelson. Jets now will need to look elsewhere.

If the Jets plan on going into the season with Chaz Schilens as the #2 WR, I have little to no hope.

I've watched Chaz for a number of years. He'll be great, until he gets hurt in week 2.

Meh, we know the Vikings aren't ready to compete, so why throw money at people that are going to be pass their prime when we are ready?

#4 RB who can sub at FB.
Kind of body competent teams add in July to round out the bottom of the roster.
Depth signing... assuming we didn't give him a $5m signing bonus.

Its a one year deal. They didn't announce terms.
I expect AD to start on the PUP. (Even if he don't I still think they'll carry 4 RBs to be safe)
Which leaves Gerhart and then 2 of King, Hilliard, Todman and any rookie they bring in.
Hilliard could also compete for the FB job with D'Imperio and Asiata.

Surprised no one from our Panthers fanbase reported this, they have signed RB Mike Tolbert to a 4 year deal.

Was going to but I got caught up in the Manning hysteria as well as trying to get updates on Kendall Marshall and Andreas Nodl.
I think it's a good signing and hopefully it means more of a balanced attack next year. Supposedly he left 1M+ on the table to sign here instead of with SD. Glad to have that excitement about the team again.

OT, but I hope the Sacramento product Stallworth can get it together. That Drunken driving that resulted in a pedestrian getting killed really messed him up. At the very least, he stood up and took responsibility in court, admitted he was wrong, and has paid the family. Even though if he was sober, he'd owe the guy's family nothing since he ran out in front of his car.

Waters is considering retirement so Gallery could be a nice replacement.
Don't really care about Stallworth, been there done that.

How many solid backs does Carolina need when they just let Cam run most of the time?

I wouldn't call Tolbert solid...
