Really this guy is the heavyweight we've been missing for a long time IMO.
Wolski and Smithson are also awesome additions. What a job by Tallon, identifying our needs and making some moves to correct those. Like they said during the first period, all 3 of them are great great pickups !

Yeah, really like Barch. I was actually iffy on us getting him because he's not a guy who can beat some of the super heavies, but I've been very pleased with how he plays, and he's had some great scraps while here. I think/hope he'll be re-signed.

Super-heavy are getting out of the game... He is still a kind-of-heavy who can actually play.
And yeah, he had some spirited and entertaining fights while here. Really don't get all the criticism he got from Dallas fans.

I'd like to see him here a bit longer, turns 31 this year.
He's been better here, I think it's in large part due to his increased ice time and Dineen's patience with him and his game. Tallon also said he wanted him to be an every game player, he's risen to the challenge.
It seems like he has a bunch of veterans in the doghouse, including Vokoun. Neuvirth is not better than Vokoun, yet it seems like Vokoun's been benched most of the games recently.
Ovechkin's minutes seem to also be way down since he got there. Tonight, Ovechkin's played about 10 minutes in 2 periods.
His moves make no sense, even Caps fans say the same things.
