I would be surprised if you could find three people on this board who did.
Lets face it, not many, if any of us have extensive viewings of Murray. Most of us probably saw him at the WJC.
Not calling anyone out, its just the way it is for most of us, myself included.
It seems strange to talk in absolutes about a player most of us have only seen a few times, if that.
That said, it would appear, by the game sheets, that Murray had a great performance, made even more so by how poor his team was and how good the opposition was.

Not even close to enough for Weber. You're going to have to give up the 1st this year for him.
On top of that, Weber will never agree to come to the Oilers unless we show that this is a competative team, and we're pretty ******* far from that at this point...
4 Trouba - 2nd safest dman pick imo and the Oilers are all about trying to get the safest bet with their pick.
5 Galchenyuk - I don't think the Oilers can look past Galchenyuk if he has a good playoffs and based on his overall size and potential at C.
6 Dumba - talented but riskier dman now start becoming more sensible at this point.
7 Forsberg - best regarded prospect in Europe would likely be higher up the Oilers list than most of us think.
8 Ceci - another all around safe type pick.
9 Reinhart - Local boy with a lot of potential would likely be high on their list but other side of the coin is they probably know him inside out as well and potential lower ceiling may put him lower on the list than some might think.
10 Faksa - Another talented C I think they'd find hard to pass up if they somehow had another pick in the top 10.
11 Rielly - I think the fear that he'd be too one dimensional would keep him from being too high on their list. The Klefbom and Musil picks last year make me think they are conservative when it comes to dman choices.
If I had to pick one "wild card player" who might be a lot higher on the Oilers list than many would think (even challenging for somewhere in the top 10 on their scouting lists)... I'd say it might be Olli Maatta. I think he plays that prototypical solid all around game and has good size that they covet on D.
Again that's just my current rough gut feel of how the Oilers scouts/management might currently rank all the top prospects. Interested in how others would see the Oilers ranking the top 10 top picks or so.
i would say that he is a defender that relies upon positioning and skating ability, rather than brute strength and power... i don't want to make it sound like i'm in the "murray camp" though, because i honestly don't see a huge advantage to taking murray over dumba (or vice versa).... your comment was just absurdly biased is all

Gagner IS more physical than Murray.
Murray is Tom Gilbert 2.0 when it comes to the physical game.
Yandle, Fowler, Boyle, Keith, Lidstrom, Enstrom, Suter... All less hits than Gilbert.
We would kill to have any of those guys. Physical play doesnt make or break a dman unless thats all they got.. Everyone is in love with Suter, guy has 44 hits on the season!

Hockeydb and the QMJHL both list him at 6'2'', my bad.
Not that Gilbert has played big for the majority of his career but has Grigorenko ever done this?
My point is that just because he is big does not automatically mean he doesn't play soft. Ponikarovsky is 6'4'' and Kurtis Foster is 6'5''. The main thing you look for is that he doesn't shy away from contact and can create space for himself.
